Sky Courier is gorgeous! Utilitarian aircraft are my favourite. And Cessna's are a pilots best friend. I can already imagine these taxiing around in FedEx livery or operating from rugged air fields. It's both lovely and capable!

I think you did a great job on the video. Purchasing decisions like these don’t require fluff or fancy BS graphics and music. Looks like a very well thought out and practical airframe

Sky courrier looks amazing!! Thanks for this detailed overview, hope we can see same kind of videos for other models Also some details of the cockpit and inside equipment are welcome Keep up the good work Bye from France

Passenger version with an option of pressurized cabin would be a game changer in the market. Very good cabin height.

King Air 350 for that. As part of the Textron group, they would t want to cross compete
@64wing2 жыл бұрын
King Air won't hold nearly as many people, but flies 70 knots faster. Totally different mission profile. A pressurized 408 would sell and not cannibalize King Air sales. It would just be super expensive to complete the engineering and certification of such a ship when they already have the first 100 of these sold as it is. Take the money sooner and realize the ROI

I just started my A&P career with a 408 operator! Can't wait to see what she's like in person.

But this plane is an almost perfect clone of the C23 Sherpa. The fuselage is exactly the same. How do you explain this?
@andrewalexander9492 Жыл бұрын
Ummm, it's not. The C-23 is larger, and has a rear ramp opening, and the fuselage is not even close to being "exact;y the same" Seriously, google pictures of the C-23 and the Sky Courier, the fuselage is quite different.
@cecielhelder5923 Жыл бұрын
They took three LD3 containers and build a fuselage around it. Form follows function. That should explain it.
@andrewalexander9492 Жыл бұрын
@@cecielhelder5923 Exactly. This plane has a very specific design parameter (the three LD3's) and everything else is secondary. I just shake my head when somone says "this is just a twin otter copy, why did they reinvent the wheel"

Hi Cessna, why did you not build a rear ramp military version of the 408 for airdrop and paratrooper deployment? You could rival the C-212 Aviocar?

Cessna should made a regional jet and an Airliner. I'm tired of Boeing and Airbus Dominating the market. Those Two A$$holes are the reason why the airplane design looks bland.

you didnt say if the hydraulic fluid is poured or pumped......you didnt mention the tyre pressures....you didnt show how to gain access to the landing light....you didnt show where a mechanic can plug in a headset.......you said nothing about where blanks and pitot covers are stowed on board. Ill bet windscreen wipers will be retrofitted........
@cecielhelder5923 Жыл бұрын
All the red gear (covers, there’s about thirty of them, prop tie downs and exhaust covers included) go in the nose cargo compartment, with the chocks. I think you’re right bout the lack of windshield wipers. 6 minutes is a bit short to cover all maintenance procedures but it was a nice introduction.
