They surfaced just before Christmas, I stumbled across this diver during one of those Google searches for watches (you know the ones!😂) then I saw the dress watch featured on John's channel. They've definitely got it right with both of their debut pieces. Really hope they keep pushing forward. As you rightly said an absolute banger!

Been a customer of Watch Nation for some time (good deals for Seiko and Hamilton fans from time to time) so I bought one of these just to see. Have to agree about the value for money. I'm a slim guy with under 7inch wrist but the flat is over 50mm so size is no problem with the reasonable lug to lug of this watch. Since they've done nothing to tart up the movement appearance I would have kept the caseback sealed. Other than that I think they're beating Ali at their own game. Top marks for it not being a clomage too.

Yes I often drop by the Watchnation website to see what's on offer they are generally pretty competitive. On the point of the exhibition caseback I can take them or leave them. There aren't many that are really that "pretty" to look at. I'm absolutely with you on the point about it not being a clomage, there's far too many of those about, I have to admit that in the earlier days of this channel I did feature quite a few of those but finding that the line between homage & fake was far too close at times it just didn't sit right with me . So there's far less of those on here now. Thanks for watching.

It's definitely a good watch for the money. As for the start of the video originally the music wasn't that loud, but good old youtube in thier infinite wisdom slapped me with a copyright claim against music in the background that I wrote and recorded myself! So it was replaced with what's there now and there is no way to adjust the volume now that its embedded. I would have to take down the video and re-edit the beginning....Needless to say, NOPE I ain't doin' that! 😂

Hi, saw these divers and was very tempted, The only confusing thing for me is, the midnight black and grey from the websites look identical? Wouldn't be surprised if amazon used the same image, would you know?

The original release of these the black is a definite flat black, and the midnight grey is a very dark grey sunburst. I believe there is a Mk2 now which has had a few tweeks to the design. The best place to find out what they've changed will be the Cestrian website, I wouldn't rely too much on Amazon to give correct info. Thanks for watching.

I needed a daily watch of good quality. I prefer to buy from micro or small brands. After some surfing on the net I found this company. The specs. are amazing for the money. I bought the gray dial and since the day it arrived I wore this watch day in day out. After a year it still looks like new. Yesterday I bought the V2 and it might not be the last one I think.

I'm still enjoying this dive series it's made its way into my permanent collection. The Master series seems to be the one that people seem to prefer & it gets some good solid praise in the reviews that I've seen of it, I don't think you'll be disappointed if you pick one up. I would suggest getting it from Watchnation instead of Amazon though I've heard one or two people have had less than a good experience when buying from there. Thanks for watching.👍

Hi, great review of what looks to be a really decent watch. Curiously, have you seen the Depth Charge dive watches which offer similar specs for a similar price? If so, what do you reckon? Aesthetically speaking I prefer the Depth Charge because the chaptering is on the main dial.

I haven't done a review of the depth charge but I have had one in hand & I would say that the Cestrian is the better watch by a hair! The Cestrian feels nicer, especially the bracelet if that makes any sense. Aesthetically speaking that's purely subjective. But both good watches for the money. Thanks for watching.

San Martins are OK. A bit pricey when compared to this one though. I've had a couple of Dud Steeldives one didn't have a gasket in the caseback & filled up with water the first time it got wet & another the seconds hand fell off. This Cestrian I think is definitely worth the price & you don't have to wait a month for it to arrive 😊

Mine arrived today in white. Such a beautiful looking watch, but unfortunately I have had to send it straight back to Amazon. Whilst adjusting the time, the crown and stem pulled straight out of the watch case. Not very impressed as I really liked the look of it and would have kept it if it hadn’t of been for that. Certainly not had any problems with the one that I have, although I have heard of a couple of people saying they've had problems with them when purchased through Amazon. It actually said that the watch was sold by watch nation even though I ordered through amazon. I’ll wait for my refund then maybe order again from watch nation on eBay, there is a discount code valid until the 7th feb which brings the watch down to £127.50. Dont know if I might end up with a faulty again or not? Or maybe just go to watch nation website itself and pay the £150?

These are far from being Steeldive or Cronos clones, wherever they are manufactured/assembled, they have done a great job. The brand website is attached to the Watchnation website should you wish to have a read. It's very easy to be cynical, but the fact remains that these are well made, fairly priced watches. As for the brand being British, they are registered in Cheshire.the info is easy enough to find on the hmrc website. But make of that what you will Thanks for watching.👍

Don't talk about luxury watch, that's complete nonsense. And tell the watches are manufactured in China, no problem also, even Apple produce products there. If the QC is good no worries. But it's impossible for this price point to be produced anywhere else. Too much cost. They look great watches for the price, so that must be enough.

They are very good watches for the price, so I'm not really sure what your problem is. As for the "luxury watch" tag, these are no Rolex or Omega but then they aren't pretending to be. Everyone's idea of a luxury watch seems to be at varying price points to some this could be thier grail piece. Luxury is subjective. But this review is about the watch not the brands story & as far as the watch goes it punches well above its weight class & in my humble opinion is well worth more than a second glance. If the watch or the brand is not for you, that's fine also.
