I honestly believe cetaphil is much better than cerave im not sure how people like cerave even it says nonfragnance but cerave smells horrible After some time so cant use it also broke out my skin on the other hand cetaphil super refreshing no smell what so ever i just love them i i use to use clinique and no more going back

The Cetaphil moisturizing lotion and cream are the ONLY moisturizers I’ve found that work for my skin! They actually moisturize and have never caused irritation to my sensitive, acne-prone skin!! I’ve tried Cerave products and they never were hydrating enough and broke me out :(

I bought the heavier Cetaphil cream when I had to grab something quick at the supermarket- not much ch selection there. I really like it, and will definitely use it up. I apply it all over straight out of the shower. I’ve also used it on my face twice, after doing a peel. Very effective! Simple ingredients but works well. You look great!

Probably one of the reasons we don't think we can use body products on the face or vice versa is marketing. I didn't start using body products on my face until I watched some of Dr. Dray's videos--and I felt that "oh, duh" moment. New sub to your videos, they're very informative and helpful, thank you!

I bought a tube of the soothing gel cream because I saw a couple reviews saying it was good. I am impressed right away! I love how it feels and it absorbed so quickly and was not sticky! This may be a new go to.

The Soothing Gel Cream is my absolute FAVORITE!!!!! I have really sensitive, dry, acne prone skin, with mild rosacea. I use it on my face and body and it is AMAZING!!! My husband even really enjoys it and he’s VERY picky about moisturizers because he hates that slippery/lotiony feeling. He never moisturizes his face or anything because he just doesn’t care... no matter how many times I’ve tried to get him to care! 🤣 but he does work in construction and his hands go through hell at work. Especially when it’s cold. He comes home with them being super dry, cracked, sometimes even bleeding from being to dry and cracked... and he likes to use the soothing gel cream on his hands after he washes them or when he gets out of the shower. He said it helps them feel better and it doesn’t even feel like he has any kind of moisturizer on them. Best of both worlds! 🙂

Hi Abbey I have tried their night cream previously as a day cream and liked it fine, but I am tempted by the redness relief night cream as a day cream for my dry, rosacea and eczema prone skin. Here in the UK it is more expensive than the US, but not so much to make it not viable to purchase. It's around twice the price of the cereve pm, but has better ingredients for my skin type. I like these videos in order of level of texture/moisture ability and look forward to future videos on other brands. best wishes.

I agree about the redness relief day moisturizer! I love the consistency and it would be a holy grail for me if it were 30 spf and came in different shades! Unfortunately that shade is too dark for me and I feel like would really only work for medium skin tones

You should check out some of Differin’s products! They are made by the same lab as Cetaphil and have some similar formulas. The Differin night moisturizer is very similar to the Cetaphil redness pm moisturizer but felt much nicer IMO. Also a better price point for essentially the same product. Their spf is identical to the “oil absorbing” one that is in the Cetaphil line as well. And the two cleansers they have without actives are literally just the two Cetaphil cleansers repackaged oops.

I’ve been considering getting the body moisturising cream to use instead of Vaseline for slugging/double moisturising because even a thick layer of moisturiser and Vaseline isn’t enough to fight against my heating and I always wake up dry, I saw Susan yara recommend it but I’m still slightly nervous because I’m extremely acne prone

Grrat video! Since using retinol I no longer have an oily areas which use to be the T zone. Now i need extra moisturizer. I've tried the Cetaphil facewash several times but didn't like it. A few months ago I tried the spf lotion but my eyes were irritated. Another product I tried was the hydrating eye gel with hyrolonic acid (in the tube). A scary thing happened, it burned my under eyes so bad causing swelling and red burns. I think it could have been due to the combination of it with cerave pm lotion so be careful with that Cetephil eye gel. I'm a Cerave serum gal now. A dermatologist told me to keep using it.

I use cetaphil (gentle cleanser and moisturizing lotion) and cerave (hydrating cleanser and lotion) but when my moisture barrier was damaged by acid peel, only cetaphil didn’t burn my skin. Now I use the cerave lotion for my hands after handwashing.

Hi Abbey, I just bought a 2-pack of Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF 50 from Costco. The list of ingredients include Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Vinylpirolidone, and Chlorphenesin (+ others). This is fascinating to me since I've tried four of the more common Cetaphil products before - both face cleansers, the moisturizing lotion and the moisturizing cream - and...I strongly disliked all of them lol. My mom, on the other hand, uses Cetaphil almost exclusively for her body care products. That said, I don't think I've seen that gel cream out in the wild before...hmmmmm...

Tip! The differin night moisturizer is almost the exact same formula but a better price for the amount you get. They are made by the same lab lol. Having used both I think the differin version feels better on the skin too but that’s just me.

@@jessie9653 I have! And to be honest I don’t like it very much. I noticed that it’ll start to “ball up” or “peel” as I’m rubbing it on my face and it just makes a mess and won’t stop balling up the whole time it’s on my face and it’s the only cream that does that. So I just prefer the normal lotion and the dry skin one with shea butter on the days my face is dryer. I like the ponds dry skin cream more than the cetaphil cream.
