Hi, what is the range of lora tracker to lora gateway indoors? I understand that if there are walls or obstruction between the tracker and gateway, the sensitivity drops like ble. Assuming I am tracking assets across multiple storeys in a building, what should the topology of the gateway be? Is it possible to connect only one lorawan gateway to the internet for the tracking to be visible for all the devices in the building? Please comment. Thank you

the problem with Lora is the low data speed transmition this technologic has. So for fast tracking it could not work properly.

Nice video, very good presentation. Please make some videos to demonstrate its practical application. Also, as you mentioned that location will be detected by the ble-lora module. In case the beacon is in range of two ble-lora receivers present at different locations both receiving the input from beacon, then how we can determine the actual location of beacon as we are receiving signal at different locations

@@CETech4u It is not using triangulation and the LoRA reader is not determining proximity location of the LoRA beacon by seeing it, it is simply receiving a "relay" of the BLE beacon ID. In other words, the LoRA beacon is determines what "Location Anchor" (as we call them here at C3 Wireless) it is closest to and then transmits that out. That is picked up by the LoRA gateway(s) and sent to the server. At that point it only needs to write that to a database which can recall for mapping, contact tracing, or reports. If more than one LoRA gateway picks up the data, then you just have multiple entries in the database of the same information, which the database can purge on the fly or on a schedule.

Hi CETech, is there any tracker device that I can interface with ? Example I would like to embed the tracker into my device. My device will use this tracker's LoRa component to communicate to the LoRa gateway. Another example is that I wanted to build a device with a indoor tracking capability as well as a gyroscope and altimeter. The data of gyroscope and altimeter will be send backend server via LoRa gateway. Are you able to provide some device readily available at PCBgogo or other website ?

If a beacon is in room #1, and a second beacon in room #2. If they are rooms that are close in distance, wont the beacons transmissions interfere with each other? How will a BLE sensor know if it is in range of beacon #1 or Beacon #2? Can you set parameters or set the dimension of the room its occupying?

Is CM accuracy really practical though? It can do room level, even sub room level for a fraction of the cost of CM accuracy systems. Add more BLE beacons for greater accuracy. This is what our company has been doing for two years.

I'm sorry I don't see the point of this video (except selling something without proper application) if you don't answer the questions in the comments, nor give any info about the application. Having a beacon in each room in your example that does not move makes no sense to me. You know the location of the beacon, ok. Now what do you do with the info when more than one of these beacons are moving? Any app, code, what OS used? Many people asked here in their comments but you never answer. I don't understand. I see also comments like this is not working. I'd appreciate more info about this, if you want to sell some reliable product and not just make some view on youtube.

Although you are right about the fact that the author does not respond to comments, it is clear that you did not watch the video carefully, otherwise, you should have noticed that the "Beacons" do not move, they are fixed, what moves is the "tracker ", the author published this video 3 years ago, in the description, there was a link to the GitHub repository with code.
