I am having a hard time singing the lyrics because even though I looked for the translation to know the meaning of them I am not able to sing them yet, Norwegian is pretty difficult! But there's something so beautiful on this song, it's powerful and calming at the same time, completely wonderful. I could be listening to it for hours to be honest. What a wonderful work.

Norwegain should be the easiest language for you to learn, same syntax as english and words are pretty much the same. We pronounce words almost as the phonetic alphabet states them. Foot is Fot, Apple is Eple, Door is Dør, Head is Hode, Hand is Hånd, Sea is Sjø, Fish is Fisk, Fat is Fett, Moon is Måne Etc Etc Etc. Good luck. BTW - The lyrics are great;-)

I pretty sure this song is about him being in love with a girl, that he has been living with before. But they have been arguing, and he dosen't live there anymore. He feels lost without her, has no place to live, and wants her to forgive him, and let him move back in her apartment. "Håper du har plass" means in this song that he hopes she has a place for him again in her home and heart. It's a love song. He dosent ask for much, he can even sleep on a madrass in the toilet (madrass på dass) or sit in the window. Just as long as she wants to let him back home again. I'm Norwegian so I'm sure I understand the lyrics. Besides I'm in a similar situation my self, my recent ex-bf wants to move back to me, after we argued and I asked him to leave.
