But CF Moto is a really good brand, and I have no problem driving where my friends with can-am's drive. And for the price, you get everything stock. But I do recommend using plastic skidplate, since with a aluminium you will get stuck on rocks, but with plastic you will just slip off. I gave you a subscribe.

Hey Bob, nice Vid. Great quad, I have the orange 2020 600T. As far as the Tie down I have heard it is always best to tie down BELOW the suspension to avoid a hook coming loose over bumps or possibly cracking plastic. She does ride like a CADILLIAC ENJOY!
@whataboutbob47634 жыл бұрын
Hey Robert Happy New Year! I concur that it's always best to tie down below suspension but with the full aluminum skid plates all of those tie down points go away. The new bumpers I added at least give me somewhere to tie down on my friends trailer when I use that, the factory bumpers and front and rear tie down racks do not work well because either the straps don't fit through them or if you get them through them any bump cracks the plastic covers. We typically use four straps and do frequent strap checks when we tie down to the bumpers above the suspension. On my trailer I have a setup where it actually ties down over the rear wheels and that prevents anything from getting loose with bumps or damaging anything. I love it It's a blast so far it goes through any snow conditions without the need of chains. Enjoy yours as well.

I've heard they have had problems with overheating. Any issues that you've run into with that?
@whataboutbob47634 жыл бұрын
Hi Tony, I have not had this issue at all so far. Most common thing I hear is that the fan fuses pop easily if they get really wet or submerged. And if you don't notice it then it will overheat because the fan wasn't working as it should. However this isn't a cfmoto only problem. But for people who don't know what the cause is the blame goes to it being a Chinese built machine and then it's the brands fault, but really it comes down to operator ignorance so the more people who know to watch for this the better. It's best practice for any ATV with an electric controlled fan to have spare fuses on hand just in case. I'll admit, it can be difficult to hear if the fan is running or not with the volume of the engine with the CVT on this machine. So it's best to listen closely whenever the RPMs are low.

Unfortunately no, unlike the previous year model which just had a back support that was removable this 2-up seat actually covers part of the battery bay. I wish it would, it weighs like 40 lb and it would be nice to take it off when it's just one person riding it if you wanted to. Unfortunately you'd have to go with the 1-up model to not have that seat and save some weight. I will say however now that I've ridden it more and more I actually like the two up seat on there because the seat lip on the bottom creates a little backrest for me, I guess really more like a bum stop so you don't slide back too far but it's nice to lean on, and it's pretty comfortable to lean back on the 2-up seat when you're stopped for lunch.

My wife put in my head that maybe I need an ATV for the yard. I have 7 acres with a pond, rolling hills and a marshy area that begs ATV. Not for playing but utility. I've been using my kubota zero turn as my ATV for the past 8 years and it does well enough but I do have a 275lb towing limit which means small stuff. The big stuff like downed trees either stay put or I lug by hand the trunk pieces to the burn pile. It would be nice to have an ATV like the 600 that can haul a bit more. The winch is a bonus for those times I mow too close to the marsh. I don't have access to my football player son anymore🙂 The 600 is really looking like the best choice so far. I did find a used 2018 Honda Foreman 500 4x4 for $7600 but a new 600 runs just $6400 and I still have to add the winch to the Honda which will run yet another $600.

Hello, it's pretty solid and the fit and finish is great. I have personally only put 50 miles on mine since I bought it from a gentleman who is getting ready to move across the country after retiring from the military. So, I'm just now at the break in point of 200 miles. So far so good though. One piece of advice is definitely learn how the plastic parts are attached before you start pulling the covers off. The little tabs and other pieces are easy to snap off if you pull on something the wrong way. I would definitely recommend either adding on A arm guards or updating the skid plates all together as the factory ones only provide basic protection. Other than that everything is solid.

@whataboutbob47634 жыл бұрын
@@paulgarcia6257 It seems that cfmoto has only gotten better year after year. They're motors are tried and true with 30 years of experience. They are the number one selling atv brand in Europe. They're trasmissions (Canadian made) are bullitproof and used on many top brands. They say imitation is the greatest form of flattery and it seems like cfmoto has looked at the best of the best and used what they learned to build a well built and reliable machine. They're is a lot of inspiration from CanAm. Only time will tell for sure but to me what I got for my money seems well worth it. Maybe try to find something with low miles on it second hand. This way you can save some money and the initial use period (when most problems show themselves) will already have past. From what I've read I would stick with a 2020 or 2021 model as they have made great strides with the newest models. As far as dealer support goes, everything I have read has been great. They honor the warranty and stock or can quickly acquire parts as needed. The only issue is there aren't tons of them out there so you want to make sure there is one nearby if you're concerned about that. Cfmotowarehouse.com is a great resource for parts.

Definitely find out why they're selling it with so low mileage. Like all things some people just get things and don't use them as much as they think they would like to, or maybe they just don't like it for some reason, or other circumstances come up especially in these times that they need to get cash. Just look everything over real careful, look at and smell the oil (these units get their first oil change at 200 miles) and definitely test drive it. With something with so little miles the $6,000 to 6,500 range is pretty common and fair. Unless the unit's been heavily abused or wrecked in those first hundred miles it's basically new and not even broken in yet. So that's a pretty fair price considering whoever bought it new probably paid $6,800 to $7,400 depending on what kind of fees their dealer charged. Good luck. Keep me posted.
@whataboutbob47634 жыл бұрын
@Will YoujustSTFU Yeah anyway you cut it it's a gamble. I put 60+ mi on mine since I got it, and I try to ride whenever I can. They could easily have 11 months left on the warranty depending on how often these people rode and how long the trips were. But whether or not they broke it in properly thus far is correct, you got to take the sellers word for it and that's about it. I spent a good amount of time with the seller for mine and after many years of selling electronics in my past I kind of approached it the way we used to think about TVs back then. There were an awful lot of Chinese brands trying to compete with the big name Japanese brands and the general consensus was that if the TV made it past 90 days without any issues you would likely end up with a decent set for the life of the TV. The supplies to basically anything I've ever used that's been made in China, you either get something that was cared about when it was put together and will last a decent amount of time or it'll present issues very early on. So I guess it's kind of a glass half full look at things but I figured the gentleman I bought it from would have been likely to have discovered any major issues during the time he owned it. I was also able to check with the dealer he bought it from (the only service center within 400 mi of us) to see if it had been in for service. The main breaking in concern comes down to impacts on how long the engine might last but to be honest I think the engine will outlast the rest of the components regardless. Sadly that's typically the same case for any ATV brand. Unfortunately the adage that things aren't made like the used to be holds true here as well. These aren't late '90s early 2000s Hondas or Yamahas which are notorious for lasting forever. For what I got for what I paid I'll be happy with a solid 8 to 10 years of life out of this machine. And I'll be way more comfortable and equipped than most people out on the trails for far less of an investment. But to each his own it just comes down to whether or not you're willing to take the chance on it.
@whataboutbob47634 жыл бұрын
Redd Foxx, to actually answer your question which isn't necessarily what I did earlier. The unit I purchased had 150 mi on it and was 5 months old. I spent my time to get to know the seller and was in communication with the dealer and service center where he bought it to further learn about its history. It's always a gamble to buy something used but in my opinion it provided the opportunity for someone else to deal with any major issues this might have had which I feel from my history of purchasing Chinese made things would have likely shown itself by now. I paid $6,500 for the four-wheeler and a 2020 trailer with custom tie-downs. I already had a trailer so I didn't need that so I swapped the custom tie downs from the trailer I bought to my trailer and sold the trailer for $1,000. Putting me at $5,500 into the machine. In my situation with selling the trailer and after adding all of the additional upgrades I have done I'm right at about $6,600 total. This includes putting on full aluminum skid plates, front and rear bumper, clutch kit, exhaust modification, heated grips, tree strap, ATV cover, and ATV bag. For me this is anything and everything I would ever want on an ATV and I couldn't be happier.
@whataboutbob47634 жыл бұрын
@Will YoujustSTFU @Will YoujustSTFU where about in Oregon are you? I'd happily let you come and play with mine and really get a feel for what it's all about out on some snow trails. We can make a day ride out of it. Honestly there's very little I don't like. I will say that without the clutch kit the response from the throttle is pretty lackluster. It also feels like you have to rev really high to get anything out of it before installing the clutch kit. I recorded us doing the clutch kit install I just haven't gotten it up yet. Best $130 upgrade for this ever. The guy Aaron who sells them is awesome. He takes all of your info like you're riding habits, elevation, whether or not you'll be changing the stock tire size, etc into account and then customizes the kit for you. It made a huge difference in performance. Other than that the power steering is awesome, the turning radius is perfectly fine out on the trails but can make navigating in a tight parking area take a little longer, the brakes are awesome, the lighting is amazing (better than most cars headlights). One of my biggest concerns was about the suspension that it was going to feel really stiff, thankfully it rides like a cloud and absorbs everything really well. Before I got this the only thing I ever rode was my friends 1998 manual Honda. So the CVT has been a bit to get used to. It's very loud and I wasn't quite used to that. Also they're pretty heavy, but I think that actually kind of helps things because it doesn't feel very tippy even with its good ground clearance. The only drawback mainly I can see is that the dealers are kind of sparse. From what I hear they're really great at taking care of warranty claims and the like they are just are kind of few and far between. Mine was originally purchased in Caldwell, Idaho and I bought it in mountain home. I think my closest dealer is in Tri-Cities Washington now. I highly recommend some kind of beefier skid plates depending on the kind of riding you do. Iron Baltic, the company I bought from sells a kit for just the A arms. At the very least that's worthwhile. I'm happy to help out if you have any more questions that offer stands if you want to come out and give it a try. I ride pretty rough and everything seems to be holding up well.

Yes, most certainly. Imitation is the greatest form of flattery as they say and it has provided us with a really great ATV.

My personal opinion, is to Dump that garbage ATV, I have my own personal experience with a 2019 Cfmoto touring 600. It's the worst ATV I ever purchased, I end up selling it for less 🙃 money just to get away from that garbage 🗑. In 6 months I have 8 repairs on it, cover by the 1 year warranty, but after the 8 repair you are thinking 🤔what else it's coming with this faulty or I will said lemon atv, the biggest problem as you.mention was the shift ⚙gearshift, impossible to change gears if you were up hill, or in deep lopes all ways got stuck with that problem, I personally recommend to Dump that ATV, motor sound also it's different from any atv I have before, loud loud motor, but you.know Chinese right, any way if you want more information on what they change on my cfmoto daring those 6 months that I have a problems with it, answer this comment..and good luck with that garbage atv...

@@javiersevilla3078 i call bullshit on this, im reading reviews about those machines last month, literally exact opposite is true about them according to quite a lot of people. Also they receive 5Years warranty in Europe. They Considered #3 after can-am/polaris

@@murdoua1 my father in law is a dealer and has had a 500 sxs for over 8 years i call massive bs bc these are some badass units other than maybe a heat shield near your leg rattling or the gear shift that all you have to do is rock the 4 wheeler slightly they’re quick smooth and get you through MUD stock we just took two 600 tourings an 800 atv and 500 sxs to hatfield mccoys in Pineville wv and drove 3 days 250 miles non stop riding and only prob we had was a blown fuse and a radiator clogged with mud
