I have a 2023 cfmoto 600 & let me tell you it's all about the rider, I ride with all brands, and I'm all factory right now, and go everywhere they go, and sometimes show them how it's done

Very good review, as a CForce 600 owner I agree with everything you put as a negative and positive, except maybe the lack of fit and finish compared to other brands. I feel like the fit and finish is very good but that's just me. It's a price point machine and what I did was buy one because it had the features like eps , standard winch, led lights etc for thousands less. Im not ashamed to admit right now I can't afford a 10 thousand dollar atv.
@AppalachianMountainRiders6 ай бұрын
I should have been more specific on the fit and finish as it does come out as sounding like it’s not good when it is…lol. The fit and finish is actually better then my can am😂 it’s more the quality of material used then actually fit and finish. The materials used feel cheaper and “lighter weight” than the more expensive brands if I can put it that way.

If you're looking for one hell of a good work or hunting machine, this is by far the best bang for your buck. It will still make a good trail and mud riding atv if you put a little money into clutch kits and tires. I use my RzR for trail riding and my 23' CForce 500 as my hunting rig. Power steering, winch, usb and 12v plugs. And, it's about 2k cheaper than any other brand that doesn't have the same accessories.

Complaint #2, i putchased the skid plates, i dont care that they are plastic but i dont like that branches always get snagged and stick in them.

My CForce has been solid for me. One thing I will say is if you value performance , factor in the cost of a clutch kit ahead of time. He did mention in the video a lack of performance, and a lot of it is in the clutching. I can describe the stock clutching as "dull". A primary spring and weights, and especially the secondary helix will add a good amount over stock.

Really nice review. I'm looking for a mid sized atv for hauling a atv trailer (or maybe just a bit bigger) on our property & clearing piles of brush for a burn pile, etc. In the winter I want to use it to plow our driveway (1300ft)...we actually have a neighbor with a tractor & snowblower who plows our driveway, but sometimes there's not enough snow for him to clear out driveway but too much snow for our cars to get out. I thought the CF 600 with a plow might fit the bill for these jobs. Love to hear your opinion. Thanks.

It would work great for that. And for the price you’d have plenty of money left for a nice plow set up or cart!

I have both of the 2023 models. CF moto 500 & 600. The 600 is definitely more powerful, it’s quicker, & faster overall. Just stabbing the throttle it’ll wheelie in High range. It even beats the XMR 700 to 50 mph in drag races. XMR is limited to 65 & 600 is limited at 63 mph. The 500 rides better, has better travel numbers, it’s even smoother. It’s not $1000 more improvement over the 500 IMO. Both have been excellent overall. The 500 Cforce is faster than the 2013 Polaris sportsman 500 HO in a drag race.

Great information. Thanks! I've been researching the CF's for awhile and close to pulling the trigger on a 1000 Touring. So my question is have you had any issues? Specially with belt slipping after water or mud riding. Recently seen a vid were some riders were going do so water n mudd running but no sooner did the CF enter the mudd, His belt was severely slipping. Just appeared to Me that the water entered the case rather quickly which shocked me.
@AppalachianMountainRiders6 ай бұрын
I didn’t mention it in the video but I couldn’t get this cforce 600 over 55. I caulked it up to being brand new with under 50miles on it. Glad to hear top speed is at least around 60! The XMR 700 is geared lower so it makes sense the 600 beat it. My outlander pro 700 walked the cforce during the little drag races we did while I had it but again, the cforce was far from broken in yet…lol.

Not to keep beating the horse dead, definitely looking forward to the Outlander comparison video, but if you could get your hands on an Argo Xplorer XR700 & do like a "battle of the budget big singles" I think that would be super cool, as it seems there's very little media on the Argo bikes, we have a local argo dealer 10 mins from me and I will say their 700 model looks damn good, it's a rebranded Kymco MXU700. I've been contemplating selling my mint 2004 Sportsman 400 for a down payment on one of those. The Cforce 600 has always been a sticking point in the Cforce lineup as a whole to me. In my opinion it shouldn't be offered in the bigger chassis, but in the smaller chassis, in which it would directly compete better with your Outlander, Polaris 570, etc.Currently as it stands they offer the Cforce 400, 500, 400 Touring - wouldn't it make more sense to offer a bare bones 500 as " the farm bike" option, then offer a fully loaded 500 & 600 in the small chassis, with the 600cc engine being the option for the small touring chassis as well. They then could take the 400cc powerplant which has proven to work great, build a sport quad around it & sell it brand new for what you could buy a TRX on market place for. Then take their 800/1000, make them the only big chassis models available, but both in single seat & touring configurations, also sell "the overland" edition as a performance package, not a whole seperate model. Out of the full array of quads CFMoto offer, I feel like the only 2 worth pulling the trigger on would either be the 500 if you want a a single seater, or the 800xc if you want a touring. In both instances there's no reason to buy the 600 over the 500, and there's really no reason to buy the 1000 over the 800. The 600 offers almost same HP numbers as the 500 in a way bigger frame, while the 500 boasts the same suspension numbers the 600 has, and is a much lighter, smaller, tighter and nimble frame. the 1000 is hardly anymore powerful than the 800 and they're literally the exact same bike. I think CFMoto have certainly become the dominant value brand but just seem to be in their own way with their offerings on the table, what point is there in offering 7 models of atv if only 2 are truly worth the bang for your buck. Now with Argo now trying to move into the budget atv segment, a company that has a massive reputation for building machines that can literally go anywhere, I think it's going to make CFmoto make some moves. Also with Argos reputation & their current rebranding of ATVS, I couldn't imagine they would risk their rep on some POS. That's the end of my rant, for now at least. Love your channel & the direction you've taken man, you've done great & continue to be one of my favorite KZbinrs for ATV related discussions.

I would love to get behind the bars of an Argo but there are no dealers even remotely close that sells them. I think that’s a big reason you don’t see much about them here in the states because the dealer network for them is lacking. I agree with you 100% about cfmoto having too many options for quads. The 500 and the 1000 are the best out of them all and really all they need to offer. We have some new Gen3 cforce 1000’s at work waiting to be assembled and I can’t wait to check them out!

@AppalachianMountainRiders6 ай бұрын
I rode it around from the lowest to highest. Lowest being the softest setting was the best riding by far but still compared to other machine made it ride like a brick…lol. It is a budget machine with budget quality shocks so it’s expected.
@cvseniorful5 ай бұрын
@@AppalachianMountainRiders I fgiured as much. I would guess they use the same spring and shock combo on their heavier / bigger machines. Doing so would lower their production costs with minimal sacrifice. Since you have access to be able to look, I would be curious to look at the larger machines. It is obvious that you can't totally tell by just looking. But, if they look the same, for the same year, there is a possibility that they are the same. The clutch vibration and turning radius, well those are entirely different beasts.

Looking for an Atv, have never owned one but a recent trip where I rented one made me fall in love instantly! Looking at this 600 in the touring model, but I also saw the 1000 in their website. I know that means a lot more power, but is it really needed? All I’m doing with it is hopefully hitting some popular trails, not using it for work or for hauling anything. Any input is much appreciated! Thanks
@AppalachianMountainRiders6 ай бұрын
The best thing about the 1000 isnt just the power but it has a lot more features too. And the thing I like most about the 1000 is it actually turns! That was my biggest let down with the 600 is the absolutely awful turning radius. One thing to add is the 600 touring is even longer and heavier then the 600 I reviewed so it’s turning radius is going to be worse yet and the heavier chassis is going to make it feel even more sluggish. Actually sounds like the 800 touring might be a good choice for you and a perfect compromise between the 600 and 1000!

Great unbiased video. I have a Cforce 1000 and although I do love my atv there are things that bug me. My 2022 for instance while crawling down a hill will disengage the clutch once you slow down which then sends you coasting freely down a steep hill. I think that's been fixed on the new Gen 3s though. I don't like how hard the air box is to access and put back on, again fixed on the new machines. But mostly the brutal turning radius haha. You are 100% correct, it sucks. I'm not sure if the new 1000 solves that or not. Anyway great video.

I’ll have a Gen 3 1000 review coming soon. It will sill disengage the belt unless you have it active decent control on. With it on it keeps the belt engage. However with it on the machine will creep 3mph even when off the gas till you hit the brakes which is annoying…lol. Full review of it soon

Garbage!!! CFMoto was junk a 6-8 years ago and came along way to be competitive which changed my mind the company. But trying to be loyal to the brand, I bought three over the years, with each one getting steadily worse. Tired of the notices from CF Moto, telling me that something needs some attention. Yes, they were all under warranty, and I took them in for repairs, but I shouldn't have to. I actually went to a dealer here in Michigan to take an Overland 1000 for a test ride, it would have been my 4th CF Moto product, I wasn't allowed to, because everyone of the four units on the lot had a recall on them, but the part needed to fix the issue would take 7-10 business days to reach the service department. This seems like a trend, so I've parked and tarped the 2024 UForce 1000 and went back to riding my 2019 Grizzly, which has never had an issue or a recall. So if anyone is looking for a 2024 Uforce 1000 all tricked out, I know where someone could get a screaming deal on one.
