I would just love to hear TJ say in a press conference just how valuable and good his bench guys are prepping and preparing for games. This team would not be as good as it is without the dedication and hard work of those guys running offenses like Baylor and Marquette against the starters. I have no doubt JT, Demarion and Kayden were instrumental in the prep work for Baylor. I think it would be cool to hear TJ say it out loud for retention and recruitment purposes in this transfer portal era.

Chatfield feels like a more athletic Rob Jones. Better footwork and hands but works his ass off on D.

the thing about isu thats so scary is we basically have 8 starters. curtis jones would be a starter literally anywhere else, chatfield has been showing how good he is on the glass these last few games, heise is a good overall player who could start at a bunch of div 1 schools. I dont think TJ treats players as starters/bench either. its almost like hockey. you have your different lines that give you different looks and isu has a bunch of different lineups that bring different looks.

TJ needs to tighten up his bigs finishing shots around the rim. Missing those bunnies at the rim is their undoing. Let’s not wait until March, fix it now. Two hand dunks and using the glass, strong with two hands always. Cyclones are playing to win it all this season. Let’s not miss the details, finish strong.

Baylor bigs always are tough to score on because they challenge and look to block every shot and are always long with depth. Our bigs have been up to the challenge for NCAA second weeeknd and season conference championship

It felt like ISU took the foot off the gas in the last 4 minutes or so. Otherwise, I expect they would have had 80 points for more in the end.
