I'm holding that area to minimize the bounce because I didn't have a vertical grip or front strap attached.

@@Eric1Tube I have a nomex cover on my Suppressor so It doesn’t get hot and I hold the suppressor.

@@535tony I'm not holding the gun this way to avoid a hot suppressor. This video is really an addendum to my video "Trying Out the CF-W A Bolt with 5.25" and 11.5" Barrels..." where aside from seeing how the CFW-A bolt runs, I was trying to get a rough idea of its bounce characteristics. These suppressed runs are similar to the run in that former video at 9:35 where I'm also holding the gun like that to get an idea of the bounce and I'm trying compare the bounce as fairly as I could by holding the gun the same for this quick and dirty assessment. The CFW-A bolt is the way to go if you want to shoot with a OEM-length barrel but I have little interest in short barrels especially following these tests where that it was clear the CFW-A bolt caused the most bounce. After these videos, I never shot the CFW-A again and eventually sold it.

@@Eric1Tube Ok. I have the full size CF-W bolt and it works great on both my 5.25 and 10 inch uppers. Maybe because the full size bolt has a shorter stroke then the A bolt. I use a screw on K grip on my 5.25 inch upper.
