I cleared CFA Level 1 in the first attempt with a 90+ percentile..Some tips : 1=ETHICS ETHICS ETHICS: Do every question of ethics from candidate resources as questions are confusing and tricky .So 100% make sure to practice each and every question of ethics and understand them 2=Try to solve all End of the chapter questions available in CFA institute curriculum 3=Give mock tests available at CFA Institute. They are most important as by giving them you will understand exam pattern and questions. If you score above 65-70% marks (not percentile), there are high chance that you will clear the exam.And if you don't score that much, don't panic try to understand mistakes you made in the mock xam. Definitely, you will clear the exam

CFA stuffs can be learnt without taking the course....You dont need CFA to be in portfolio management ,financial analyst....CFA doesn't have any statutory rights. But CA is gold standard and has got statutory rights.... Respective govts give respective authority and rights to CA.

My point was CPA , CA , ACCA are sovereign courses of respective countries and has got statutory and regulatory rights to sign on various compliant papers both nationally and Internationally in respective countries....CFA has no such statutory right. The extent to which CA, CPA can go is extreme auditing including transfer pricing and Forensic audits which No CFA can even think about... CFA is all about portfolio and asset management which anyone can do without even pursuing CFA.Most top investors , traders are not CFAs .

@@ishant0157 actually it greatly depends on certain conditions like if you're an early bird or not or for instance say if you're getting any aid from the institute itself.. these things together will determine what would you be paying for the complete course and just fyi you'll have to register 3 times for each level btw, I'm also a MBA.

@@arnavshukla757 to a certain extent but not that much. These two possesses two completely different curriculum and approach. Though the basics are more or less same but unlike BBA or MBA finance, CFA mostly focuses upon the moral and ethics part of finance along with portfolio management, investment banking and so on and so forth.
