Damnn!!! You said the words I had been trying to avoid telling myself. Being stuck in the career and thinking of a course like CFA or an MBA from an IIM always seemed (still does) like that window out of a wormhole. Think on those line always helped me shift the blame to a lack of higher Certifacation or a higher degree rather than the actual problems that lie within. Cause like you pointed out, if we don't work on that internal roadblock that's been weighing us down, no level of higher certification is gonna make it all go away. Rather (on a lighter note) It's like slapping on a fancy golden band-aid on a broken leg! and it'll only make you more depressed from the fact that "Oh earlier, I was just stuck in my career, now it's even worse, now I have a CFA charter and still stuck in my career"

Hi, thank you for the valuable information. I'm very confused about whether I should go for CFA or not ? Let me just give a brief (My education is Maters in Technology in Computer science, work experience is in IT MNC as Business Analyst followed by Data Specialist in Market Research, now I'm on career break because of my family). As I don't wanna waste this time and want to start afresh, so decided for CFA. I appreciate it, if you could suggest something whether I go for CFA or any other option. Thank you

Simple logic for those who want a finance job: you need to know what you are talking about. You can network all you want but people ask you stuff and you know shxt. CFA will fix your issue. Full stop.

Hi I am very confused , I am in 1st year (2nd sem almost finishing) .should i apply for cfa level 1 for november attempt ( I havent started studying for it now ) or i should go for feb attempt ( I can give it there are no huddles in between ), because i will be preparing for mba exams as well in 3rd year and I dont have work ex yet .( i will using the time between these 2 attempt month for work ex )
