Wouldn't the ACC be in more danger of being the 5th champion with SMU home loss to BYU?

Nebraska gets brought up a lot , but if you watched that game v Utah game this is a completely diff team

Most of those coaches on the committee are there cus they aren’t currently coaching cus they got fired for being bad so forgive me if I question their knowledge of ball.

The possible ACC champ SMU lost to BYU already this season. If they put in two ACC teams and not two Big 12 teams that's absurd.
@Mike-aka7472 күн бұрын
Both will only get 1 in. Both leagues have cannabalized themselves now, to where there’s no path for 2.

Is there a football reason ND wouldn’t be left out?

SEC you're complaining play somebody in the non-conference and stop relying that the SEC is so good that that will speak for itself play Notre Dame or Ohio State in your non-conference Georgia

The SEC needs to be dismantled and reconstructed. They've consolidated a majority of power if not all the power of the CFB system. This shouldn't happen. Would you all a defendant to choose his own punishment? This is in essence what we're letting the SEC get away with. They make the rules for a playoff system and all the rules are geared to favor them. The metrics used to determine pre season rankings to playoff rankings are created by the SEC. This is no different than what Pablo Escobar did when he was sentenced to prison. He made the prison. He hired the gaurds at said prison. He out the prison on his own land. And set his sentence himself. This is ludicrous that we allowed the SEC to control all of college football and then we all sit here wondering why we only see SEC teams in the playoffs. 🤷

CBS Sports and Heather Dinich of ESPN are predicting that the winner of the Big 12 (Likely Colorado) will either get the 12th seed in CFP with Boise State taking the 4th seed or two G5 conference champions in (Boise and Tulane/Army) and the Big 12 not in. The hate of Prime is real

If the Big 12 winner doesn’t get a bye, throw the playoffs away.

Of course Spencer Danielson isn't being considered for Coach of the Year. Not surprised there. 🤷🙄

Yes, a one-loss Indiana should be in the playoffs. Let it play out on the field. If we see blowouts then can reevaluate.

I guess if ND losses to a weak USC (or NAVY) maybe they get left out because they have no big win other than a fading LSU.
@Mike-aka7472 күн бұрын
If ND loses to Army. It should be game over for them. 2 loses to G5 teams alone should seal their fate. But who knows.
@philgates9876Күн бұрын
@@Mike-aka747 yes I mistakenly put navy, I think lose to USC or Army they are probably out. I expect Texas to knock off TAM lowering the value of ND's only good win.

If I read Sagarin's page correctly, the SEC has SEVEN of the top 10 SOS rankings. 1) UGa, 2) UCLA, 3) LSU, 4) Fla, 5) S Caro, 6) FSU, 7) Purdue, 8) Okla, 9) Bama, 10) Miss St
@mcallarse3 күн бұрын
Today per TeamRankings, the SEC has 9 of the top 10 SOS, with the sole exception being OSU at #9. Alabama, fresh off a win against FCS Mercer and with only one P4 non-conference on its schedule is #2. The whole system needs to be reviewed.
