That NW 92 yard drive for their TD was incredible - they were playing lights out making 3rd down after 3rd down, really had Buckeye defense on heels. IMO, Buckeyes D blitzed on defense more then I have seen all year. Interesting.

Once the players realized Northwestern came to play, not roll over and die, they pounced on a mistake and completely took over the game. Northwestern had about half of their yards for the game on the first two drives, and all of their points. The Buckeyes won't need any extra motivation or reminders to be up for rhe next two weeks.

he did it when cj stroud was there but it’s also because of how college football was structured back then. most teams ran the score up because they felt they had to look super dominant to be top 4 but now that it’s a 12 team playoff and there could be a additional 7 games it doesn’t really matter how u win as long as u do win you’ll be in the top 12. and teams will want to be safer then sorry to make it through a long season. people are dumb and talk about the spread not being met but they’ll realize this is the path college football is heading for the future and it’s honesty a good thing.
