so here the density of the PCM is considered constant. but PCM density changes when it changes from solid to liquid na???
@FrontiersInCFD3 ай бұрын
both materials are defined along with their different density

I think you need to take in account the PCM solid phase because you didn't take it. You have only enter the properties without using it, within the physical model.

Wall boundary conditions are pcm solid
@rachidhidki61633 ай бұрын
@@FrontiersInCFD I mean the domain not the wall I think. Because the phase change must take place in the domain not wall

Yes you can select the regions from boundary conditions then while setting animation you will see more clearly which regions you have selected that time , need to ensure that along with the wall and other regions are selected and their materials are defined as per the required

@@rachidhidki6163 How would you go about considering the properties of the "PCM-Solid" across the entire domain?
@rachidhidki61633 ай бұрын
@@JuantorresDL98 you need to specify the properties of solid and liquid at the same time. You need to use a polynome or function to specify the properties of solid and liquid with temperature

Sir, could you please explain the results section and show how we can create nice visuals?

Will do

Sir, can you compare your simulation results with original paper.
@FrontiersInCFD5 ай бұрын
I have run it for initial time steps.. for comparing the results it need to be run at longer time steps.
