Bullcrap win for the Tiger-*******. I'm a fan, and giving up 20+ points in the last 5 minutes is something that should be yelled at to the defensive coordinator. This was no great win. This was a complete defensive collapse, and it' happened in every game this season.

I thought MBT played well for the USFL here on the states. He simply isn't cutting it in Edmonton. Tre Ford needs to be the QB now. The Elks found juice when he stepped in. But by that time it was too little, too late.

I feel so bad for Edmonton. I was a Cornelius fan last year and I remain a fan this season; like a number of years ago when Winnipeg had such an horrible season, all the losses have been by 5 points or less, so it isn't like their terrible..... just something needs to fall into place. Glen Suitor was adamant during the broadcast, after Ford came in and Edm got their first touchdown, that 'the decision has been made, Ford has to start the next game.' I sure hope so because I don't like to see sad sack teams. It would be so nice to see the Elks go on a bit of a run and see Commonwealth full to the brim...... 🙂

They deserve everything they get, the name switch being the beginning of their collapse is no coincidence. They have not been this bad for this long, EVER as the Eskimos. The Elks are quickly becoming associated with futility and failure. The vibe has shifted and in a very bad way. Commonwealth crowds used to be so fun, it's just depressing now.

Well canning the coach seems to have worked. Usually they gas it late in the 4th, but now they're doing it in the 2nd. Signficant improvement!

He was there starting last year and was good, the second half they looked good. I was surprised they signed MBT because I just assumed it was Ford's year this year. It should have been and hopefully will be from now on but it probably won't be that easy, with what edmonton is paying for MBT

Last season when they were on the historic losing streak, he put in Ford (who was a third string QB) and Tre finally won them games. Why the elks thought Tre wasn’t ready to start straight away this season, I’ll never know. Foolish decision making on their end.

MBT is good. He had some great games with Elks already. Bede was very good last season in Toronto... but he wasn't trying to kick long field goals and onside kicks.

The fact Edmonton has a Canadian QB who played his College football in Canada, and is as electric as he is, and the Elks decide to pay MBT 500k instead of use that cash to build a Team around your young star QB is mind boggling. I was excited to see Tre Ford start this season. He was amazing last season. I thought he was a definite starter this year. I watched the first Edmonton game this year anticipating and expecting him to be there. Then I saw MBT. Wth? Then I hear that the coaches think Ford is the future but not right now? Really? I mean, that's the guy. The guy you need is right there and ready to light up the entire league and you choose MBT over him. Baffling.

Celebrating a personal achievement in the midst of a blowout comes across as self-centered and lacking awareness of the bigger picture.
