Great to see an owner's video using the bike in the real world. I always try to seek out reviews from owners & not someone who's on a test ride, it's more authentic & genuine. I've yet to see one of these in the flesh, yours must be some of the first 450MTs in Oz, I think they'll sell like hot cakes, enjoy!

I’m so impressed with this bike in a few months after a few good reviews I would consider getting rid of my CRF rally for one - selling a Honda for a Chinese bike! Something I thought I’d never do but the CRF is just too slow.

A lot of people are saying the same about the crf, I love the look of them but yea these go way better and that motor with twin balancer is silky smooth. It cruises great even if it does rev a bit harder. I am going to experiment with front sprocket and see what a difference it makes but nothing wrong with it the way it is.

Have pre-ordered an Ibex450 for delivery here in the U.S. Dealership says mid August. Planning on selling 3 bikes as the 450 should do it all! I hope. This bike may put CFMoto on the bigger stage here in the states. Their 4 wheelers are good sellers with robust build. And the 450 engine has been proven to be reliable also. So many great features on this bike out of the box. Seems not only good for the price but good period! And the Honda CRF300's are almost unattainable here and marked up above MSRP if you can find one at all. I do hope they can sort the throttle a bit so as to be smoother response down low...not throttle by wire so not software fix to it? Emissions requirements can play a part in this so it may take an aftermarket fix to smooth this out...?
@bazz66705 ай бұрын
I think it is great value, the motors have been in service for a while now. The only thing i would pick on is the low down throttle is not smooth but you get used to it. i'm sure someone will sort it out.

At around the 3:00 mark I can hear you puffing which means you are not breathing correctly (and that gets tiring fast). Relax and breath normally. Practicing off road skills helps a lot but, the point is, be conscious about how you breath while riding. It transforms your riding experience overall.

Thanks Bazz 66 for the updates. I'm in the USA (Colorado) and we aren't supposed to get the Ibex 450 (same bike) until Aug or Sept. I'm 5'10" with 32.5" inseam. Are you flat footed on the stock seat? I've also had both knees replaced and wondering how the seating position is? Is it cramped on the stock seat? I think I may prefer the taller flatter seat but being the same height as you, you think it is needed? Appreciate the great content, keep it up. It's also on my bucket list to come ride in Australia, looks epic! I will likely keep the stock gearing as I live at 3,000 m altitude and often ride over 4,000 m, so the bike would be down on power (27-36% less). I went down a tooth on my previous KTM 690 so I could slow down in 1st and 2nd and still have power for the steep and technical stuff.

@@bazz6670 Thanks for your advice. Got a worked DRZ400E for the tougher stuff and a T7 for the faster gravel tracks and made roads. I did a short test ride of the 450MT last week and liked the bike a lot, the snatchy throttle was a turn off but thanks to you I know it can easily be improved. The power seemed great for offroad but fear I would end up flogging the nuts off it chasing my mates in the twisties to keep up. I could get 400 ks out of a tank of 15 litres on my Himalayan (that was mostly off road from Blenheim through the Molesworth Station road back to Ashburton, so that economy is very poor. I think a Scrambler 400X would make much easier work of that trail. It seemed to be labouring a bit.

The drz is a more focused offroader, I have had 2. Drz will pill heaps harder and has great suspension.
