Thanks Bazz once again for this further "gear experiment".. looking forward to seeing another episode related to offroad conditions... generally speaking, I hope that the Chinese manufacturer will start thinking to make a factory modification on this model, for example by changing ratios in 5th and 6th gears.. in such a way both highway and dirt track needs would be satisfied

@marcofossa5741 Thanks for the comment, this bike doesn't belong to me. On my own bike I have 15 front sprocket. After riding off road up steep hills in the high country I don't think I would lower gearing anymore than that. The standard gearing is ideal for off road. On the highway with 15 it sits on about 6500 rpm and 130 is 7000 rpm.

Hi there; 1- Isn't that thing on top of the speedo blocking your sight? 2- I wonder how the 450 would've behaved (i.e. gral. vibration and revs) @ 120/130/140 km/h which are closer to real speeds for long trips. Since most of us do not have the luxury of a truck to take the bikes to a trail road, we might need to ride them at highway speeds for hours. This is way, at least for me, highway speeds are a dealbreaker at selecting the right bike.
@cangaroojack6 ай бұрын
Hey mate! I can't speak for personal experience since i've not ridden the bike, but reports from trusty journalists here in Italy all say that at highway speeds (here the usual is 120/130 and 140 for the eventual overtake) all say that the engine stays smooth as butter, but the revs are decently high at cruise speed with still some legs for the eventual overtake. So the consensus is that it's not ideal for touring, but a couple of hours of highway are no problem, might need a rest stop here and there if you're a taller biker! So far the only thing i don't really like is the fuel economy

DEMAND to know what their radar is calibrated from; no calibration report, no fine; when we DEMAND (politely) to see the Cerification and Calibration report, they MUST show it; ta ta Mr Plod; Crime is out of control and they are still focusing on Extorting money from people just going about their day to day lives without harming anyone.
