The issue you mention with using the quick shifter is usually because you might have a partial throttle open. Practice to completely close the throttle and press down on the gear lever only. No throttle open. Not even a little bit. Completely closed. You will not hurt the gearbox & engine. The revs are automatically lifted because it is used to "unload" the gearbox to assist it to change gears down. If you have rhe throttle slightly open, it adds more revs to the engine.

Hey Moto Trauma, congratulations on 3 months with the crazy fast but beautiful motorcycle! This is a normal function of having to stay in 1st gear between 0-25 km/h. The engine is of a high compression engine & is really built for out of city roads. Just become smoother on the throttle in slow speeds not being tense & gripping the handlebar tight. The best way is to know if you're gripping too tight is to "flap" your elbows while holding a constant throttle. If the when you do the elbow flapping the throttle makes the speed fluctuate, you are gripping too tight. Do you understand? Enjoy the bike! A massive step up from the 450NK!

@stevesanelli90 Understand yes. I was used I think because of the 450NK to be able to move at low speed in second gear (even third 😅) , this one needs first gear definitely ✌️💪 thank you! ✌️✌️ understand with the throttle I will make sure I have it close and tests start now 😅💪💪

The quick shifter is really for high speed riding. I avoid using mine in during slow or city riding. Im sure that on the track you will love it.

@@nigelfisher6896 Yes I noticed it is more advantage to use it with quick shifter disabled for where I am riding it, I will just activate it when I go for rides in the mountains. Day to day will stay off ✌️😎

Has anyone ever complained to u about the lights during the night? sometimes when I'm riding my 800nk during the night other drivers will flash the beams as a way to warn me that my highbeams are on even though thy are not, the lights are just bright

@@basicnoob8142 very easy fix, a star screwdriver, bend the steering to the left and you will see the adjustment there. Put it with lights pointing to a wall, and adjust easy up or down ✌️💪 in first days when I bought it yes, it happened to me also, I just set it to more down and now it seems ok 💪✌️✌️

Does the quick shifter from 3rd to 2nd always behave like that? Do the RPMs matter? Does the 790 duke behave similar?

@@Teamteddygaming Someone up in the comments told me why would be the reason. It is my first quick shifter motorbike in over 20 years and over 30 motorcycles. I may do something wrong as I am not yet used to a quick shifter. All I know is up from 1st to 6th there is no issue, when back down from third to second, sometimes I get like a push, like it wants to fly from under me and I have to even faster grab the clutch when that happens. I will test more in time ✌️💪 About duke 790 I never heard such complaints from what I saw videos and reviews. ✌️✌️

When the engine cuts out due to low RPM, e call that stalling the bike.

@@Teamteddygaming yes I had before the 450nk, I was able to leave even with third gear, I didn't got used to this one in traffic yet ✌️💪 I don't like traffic too much 😂😂 I have a few rides in traffic in 3 months maybe 3-4 times ✌️💪

@@silviughindoc6039 it just showed up one day and I accepted only. I did nothing special... Since I got it in 3 months he made 2 updates by itself. In the first update car play was gone, and now in the last update, I see it is back. I heard some people did some ECU updates at CFMOTO when they didn't receive the update. Try to make them visit and ask about the ECU update ✌️

@@milesfarley2831 It is not my first CFMOTO, it is my third. In total on 3 I made around 30,000km without even the smallest issue. This one is new, it has a little over 1,000km, I just made the first service after break-in. All the progress and problems I will post on the channel, as I did in the past with the other 2 ✌️💪 reviews, thoughts, impressions of everything that I do or it happens with them 💪😎✌️✌️✌️

@@PetrosEasyrider My first quick shifter motorbike after around 20 years and over 30 motorcycles 😅 and after 3 months I don't know exactly what I am doing with the quick shifter... i know that I don't use clutch when I accelerate and switch up gears, but on downshifting everything works the same, until third to second gear, when I get this push ✌️
