This is one of the best walk around I've seen on a CF Moto Cforce quad. I was glad to hear your biggest complaint was the dealer network. I've noticed that as well but just learned the other day that one of the biggest, and most legitimate, powersports dealers in my area carrys CF Moto, which was a huge relief

Great video. I purchased a 2022 CForce 600 T in May of 22. I live in Montana and we have some serious trails here from mild to wild. This atv is a total beast. I am a former Polaris snob. If it wasn't a Polaris I wouldn't give it a second look. That is until our local Polaris dealer built a fancy new building last year and after they moved into their new place they acted like they were doing you a favor by you stepping into the building. Total losers. A friend suggested CFMOTO. He bought a new 800 Touring and a blade and was delighted with it. I went to the dealership Missoula and was sold almost immediately. I rode this CForce hard last summer and had a blast with it. Never a problem. This May in 23 I bought a new ZForce 800 Trail to add to the stable. If it's close to as good as my 600 I'll be happy. Anyone thinking about one of these I'd have to say they can't go wrong. You really do get a lot for your money.

Just another thought on the 12v outlet, I have a Jackery portable battery pack I use to run all sorts of gear camping, which can charge off of a 12V. You could charge it riding during the day, and when you stop for camp at night run your camp lighting, or whatever other accessories you bring for camping with it.

Nice review man. I got CF Moto CForce 520 L 2022. This is one great ATV. My brother also bought one and we go over on mountains and have a lot of fun, never had a problem with it, it doesn't have power steering like the 600 but it doesn't have to, I like it either way. The CF Moto service line in my country is great, dealers are real with real service lines and they do all the equipment and part upgrades etc. Great review, I hope it does good to you after a year or so.

Just found your channel. Solid review. I’m looking into a new quad and am considering one of these. Good point on the twelve volt plug about airing up a flat tire. I see from your other videos your a gold prospector and a metal detectorist. So am I. Been an LDMA member since 1996 and swinging a metal detector since 98. Live in the Sierra Nevada’s in northern Commiefornia so I’m in gold country. I’m in the Sacramento area and there are a lot of cf Moto dealers around me, more than Can Am. Sounds like we use the machine for the same purpose.

Great review. I just bought my fourth cfmoto over a 3 year span. A uforce 500 and cforce 400 back in April of 2018. Traded the uforce in on a zforce 950 in July of 2020 (1st 950 sold in the states and it was to me). The uforce 500 was rock solid....no issues. I was just looking for something with a little more power....and a little trail friendlier. That uforce 500 was the machine I spent extra and got a 4 year extended warranty on because I was new to cfmoto...and didn't quite know what to expect. Great piece of mind....but after owning 4 of these with not one issue on any...I stick to the factory warranties only now. Just recently I sold the cforce 400 to my sister (they say you shouldn't sell anything mechanical to a relative) I guess that speaks volumes for the confidence I have in these machines. This machine was and still is rock solid. 1600 miles with only routine maintenance being performed on it. I got out of it what I paid for it new and dropped that money down on a new 2021 cforce 500 that I picked up a few days ago. Another great purchase....another great machine. My wife rides a 2019 Polaris Sportsman 450 H.O. other than providing a smoother ride it doesn't compare in sterdiness, fit and finish, utility functionality, build quality and/or looks. I am in agreement with you 100% on dealer abundance and dealer quality. My dealer is 5 miles up the road....and sells more cfmoto machines then the 5 closest dealers of other brands combined. It's common to see other cfmoto machines on our trails within a 50 mile radius here. 9 times out of 10 they were sold by my local dealer. Yes of course there will always be naysayers out there. I smile and invite them to ride with our posse. They find out rather quickly....cfmoto is going to be around for awhile.

Hey thanks for the review I really appreciate it I just bought one myself and I'm looking at all the forums on KZbin and trying to check and see exactly what this what makes this machine tick and you showed a lot of different tips that the dealership didn't even tell me about like that little plug-in thing desert fittings he didn't even say anything about those so I'll be checking those and and I actually picked mine up on Saturday mine is a 2024 so it's a lot newer than years so I don't know if there's a whole lot more added to what I have compared to what you have but I'll be looking at mine more in-depth like you do and like you did your review to see if my four-wheeler has the exact features and specs that you have that you've pointed out I do know that my bumper is a little bit more beefier than the one that you have up front I guess they made it bigger and more bulkier I guess I did order the tractor tires I didn't really like the ones that had the that they had on them so I had them get me some of those like tractor tread kind of tires cuz we go out in the trails over here and I thought that those would be a lot more aggressive but yeah I appreciate your review on this bike and mine's the red one I like the camel one but the red one just stuck out so good and my I guess my rims are a little bit different than yours too but other than that it's pretty much the same thing I did subscribe to your channel so I look forward to more content thank you

Man I found your video while thumbing through looking for comparisons. There's a dealer near me in Louisiana Covington Motor Sports and he handles them every time I pass I'm checking them out after watching this and a couple other videos on them I think I'm gonna stop in and give them a once over. I don't Mud Ride so it will be used for hunting only then pretty much sit till July or August to prep for the up coming season. Great review and as for the Bad I guess being there's a dealer near me there really wont be a down side to this thing at all... Thanks

This was a really good review 😃 I really like my cforce 520L that I had for almost 3 years. I made a 2 year review last year on it with the pros and cons I had, and will make a 3 year review this summer. I have never think about the clutch, that cfmoto come stock with a really good brand. My dealer is only 10 km away from where I live, and they have really good service + mechanics that know their stuff. CF Moto is a really good brand, I it will take you everywhere you want to go. I bought 27" tires for mine last fall, and it was a big game changer with good ground clearance and softer ride. I subscribed to you, so I can see more of your machine 😃

You are spot on about the dealerships. The two nearest to me are both HD dealerships. One won't even list CFMoto on their website and the other sells a lot of Japanese powersports equipment so they kind of treat CFMoto like an afterthought. You go in to look at what they have in stock and they try to sell you a new Honda Foreman.

Hi. Great walk around and video. Yours is the first non-biased review that I’ve seen. I bought a CForce 600 on September 24, 2021. I’m still in the first stage of the break in phase and I’m 100% happy with my purchase! I loved the extras that came standard with my machine! I added a snow plow kit and heated handlebars because living in Canada I felt it was a necessity. Long cold winters and a long driveway pushed the decision on the add ons. My dealer is 30-minutes away and they pick up and deliver it back after servicing for a very reasonable $40 so that’s an added bonus! I have only about 50 kms (31 miles) on it so far but from what I’ve experienced so far, it’s an amazing machine compared to the others I was looking at. I will buy the extended warranty just for peace of mind although I don’t think i’ll need it! Thanks again for the awesome review!

When I first started looking at CFMOTO about 6 years ago there was only one dealer he was about two hours away. Now there’s about 10 dealers in southern Ontario. The dealer I go to has a lot of ATVs and boats for sale. They’re about 45 minutes away from me. I am a mechanic I don’t find it all that hard to work on compared to a car or truck. For servicing everything’s easy to get at and really no special tools required. I bought an actual dealer service manual for mine. In Canada they have one year full warranty and five years on major components that touch oil. I have an 800 XC it’s has 18 hours on it now I just got it in January. I’ve been plowing a lot of snow with it. Anyway so far so good hasn’t caused any problems but time will tell if it was a good choice. So far I’m pretty happy with it.

My only question is why they weigh so much more than the competition. CURB WEIGHT: 870 LBS! vs. 704 lb for the Can-Am 570 Outlander. That's like having an adult passenger riding along with you.
@thatoneguy2756
@thatoneguy2756 2 жыл бұрын
Yea, I say the winch, mount,and switches makes up about 45lbs but why the rest of the weight is there is beyond me. Bumpers,handguards,6 ply tires may be another 40 extra above base model quads in same class. Plastic over rack covers maybe 15lbs. The rest I say is probably overbuilt frame,reciever,axles??

I bought a 2020 CForce 600 last year and I love it. One point on "the bad" -- the battery is hard to access. After removing the seat you also need to remove a metal bar anchored by two bolts and a plastic cover anchored by plastic grommets. That gives you access to the battery and terminals. But even after that and releasing the rubber strap holding the battery down I was not able to remove the battery. It appears to be anchored somehow underneath, but the space is very tight with little room to maneuver, and I can't figure out what is holding it down. I need to remove the battery in the winter to attach it to a battery tender (I keep the ATV in a shed with no electricity, so I need to get the battery out and into my camp where I have power). Any insights on how to get the battery out would be greatly appreciated.

I gave CFmoto a fair amount of consideration but stayed with the Yamaha Grizzly/Kodiak line of ATVs that have been bulletproof in my experience. Also, the resale value is superb. I wasn't able to find a nearby dealer to test one so I was also concerned about the poor support that you mentioned. The overall weight is well above that of the leading brands. It's probably not a big issue for farm/ranch work but that extra weight equates to reduced performance for the speed both off the line and at full throttle. In addition, the heavier weight reduces the towing capacity. The weight may be a function of being less refined with its design and the materials used. Having said that I agree with you that the CFmoto has the most bang for the buck and will exceed the expectations of most owners. I will keep a close eye on this brand thanks to your excellent review.

I’ve been in the sport since the 80’s and trailer a lot. The strap over the tire is absolutely the best way to tie down an ATV. I’ve seen many cases where straps on the frame come loose from the suspension compressing further due to rough roads, damage to body work from friction or strain. I use 1 strap on each tire. You would have to have all 4 tires go flat to be a problem, and it would be a problem no matter where the straps were hooked as the lower atv would let the tension off the straps.

I have a 2021 CF Moto C-Force 600 Touring in camo. Yes it is a very solid machine, very well built, rides great, handles great, four-wheel drive works wonderful. The two up seat is great my wife really enjoys the comfort. I really enjoy this machine. There's no doubt that you should go out and get one of these or at least ask to test drive one. I purchased this a month ago. There is no problems with dealers here in minnesota. CFMOTO USA is headquartered here in Plymouth Minnesota. I have three dealers within 45 minutes of me. I purchased it at Power Lodge in Ramsey Minnesota and they have plenty of these right now ready to roll as well as the side by sides and the 800s touring as of March 2021

I bought two there over the last month. First, I bought a lava orange XC800 about 5 weeks ago, and 3 days ago, I bought a titanium silver touring 600. I haven't checked too much yet, but I don't believe either of mine came with the 7 pin trailer wiring pigtail. Did yours come with it? From the time I bought my XC800 to the time I came back and got my touring 600, they had gone through 3 truck loads of CFMOTO's... a new truck just came in, and when I bought mine, it was still in the crate and they had to put it together.
@johnspringer3951
@johnspringer3951 3 жыл бұрын
@@angryman71 no it did not come with that. I thought that was only a Canadian and European thing for some unknown reason. One thing I wish they came with for sure was mirrors. I don't really like to have to turn around and look to see who's behind me...lol Yes I purchased mine a month ago also. When I showed up there with my wife we were just going to look at them and have her sit on the backseat of a touring model and I think at the time they had nine orange ones because I had called ahead of time. The funny thing about it is is that when we had showed up there was an all camo one and it was there just because another dealer had recently traded them a camo one for an orange one. So we purchased the camouflage 600 touring that day.

I went shopping for them today. I would say for the money there is no way in hell someone could justify another brand unless they're fan boying. As a Honda fan boy myself I know its hard to break from. The only thing I saw that was inferior to the other brands was that the welds on the racks are not as clean as say a Yamaha but if they're strong I don't care what they look like Especially since they're hidden on the new models under plastics.

How easy are they to repair? We used to run Honda Ranchers, Foreman, and Rincons on our Ranch to herd cattle, and now won't buy the newer ones. We look for older ones with low mileage. It used to be that the front ends had several supports and several separate pieces of plastic. When you hit a cow, and you will if you are using them on a ranch, the older ones, you could take the plastic off, straighten out the supports and put it all back together in a couple hours. With the newer ones, when you hit a cow, it shears off two support bolts or their mounts and ruins the entire front half of the plastic because it is all one big piece. The last one we had, the quad had to take a trip to the welding shop to fabricate new mounts and reweld. What happens to CFMoto when you hit a cow?

Thanks for the video! Does CFMoto have a sprag clutch like a Yamaha which has engine braking on all 4 wheels when in 4 wheel dif lock, or rear wheels engine braking when in 2 wheel drive? Another channel was saying that the 600 is underpower. He recommends the 800. I'm not sure which to get. I currently have a Polaris 450 and I wonder how the 600 compares power wise.
@RemOutdoors
@RemOutdoors 2 жыл бұрын
Not sure about the comparison. At the time the 600 was more powerful "and more features" than the 500. I pull loads of firewood and drag a Black Boar blade with no issues. For a ATV of its class and size it does just fine. The CVT clutch can be weighted differently depending on what you want to do with it.

😮 I didn't even know about the trailer plug and outlet. I bought my cfmoto just for that reason to haul a trailer from the street to my back yard as well as move the trailer around my yard. I never knew the outlet existed. I will check tomorrow to see if it's there. If it is, my dealer owes me a whip.😤

@@calitaco I found the bracket for it, and the plug for the outlet, but there was no actual 6/7 pin outlet that hooks to the trailer☹️. I called and asked about it. Even though the book says it comes with the trailer harness, the guy who sold me the quads told me the quads don't come with it. That I would have to order it.

@@marcusd6096 That actually makes sense because as far as I know, ATVs are not street legal in the US so why would it need trailer brake lights. I know they can be street legal in certain parts of Europe though.
@marcusd6096
@marcusd6096 2 жыл бұрын
@@calitaco That's fair. I'm new to atv, and only thing these need are some rear view mirrors and turn signals and its pretty much ready for the street.... I will equip these with the trailer harness, that's what I really bought the 1000 for to haul the trailer around, from street to yard, and around the yard. If at night, the trailer lights would be nice to have. The 1000 is about 8 ft long so darn near the size of a car.
@marcusd6096
@marcusd6096 2 жыл бұрын
@@calitaco Update... I ended up buying the outlet directly from cf Moto, and it plugs right in to one of the sockets that has a cap on it , by the socket bracket(circle with 3 holes around it)... If anyone is reading this, make sure that you buy the one specifically for your cfmoto atv. The trailer plug kit really only differs at the actual plug connection. I accidently ordered the wrong plug. After observing, I had to remove some plastic from the ordered part so it would plug right in to my cfmoto 1000. Order the right part it will come with the right amount of plastic so one can plug and play without any modification. Overall it's the same trailer plug, just the actual plug connector is slightly different. The part came /was delivered pretty fast. All I need now, is the mirrors and the turn signals.

Even after the motor job that we had done to it we still had issues with the damn thing I'm talking about an Ingersoll garden tractor.

Very informative video, thank you for your insights. May i ask, sense you seem the sort to work on it yourself, if you have, how 'mechanic friendly' it is? Do the body panels come off fairly easily to get to serviceable areas, are parts easily obtainable ect. I'm considering putting a 4sale sign on my 1992 polaris Trailboss and building my credit a little with one of these, but i'm not the sort who can tolerate not being able to work on his own stuff.
@RemOutdoors
@RemOutdoors 3 жыл бұрын
Any new machine compared to what was built 20 years ago or more is going to be more complicated. All the basic maintenance is easy to get to without hatching into the main panels. They really don’t want owners working on the new cfmotos, I could not get the service manual for mine. It’s a dealer only link that can’t be downloaded or printed but I do have access to the link. I have to replace a CV boot on mine “my fault” and will post a video on it. Back in the day ATVs were made simple and extremely easy to access and work on, front and rear plastics were one piece etc. ATVs today should follow with being rugged and easy to work on.

@@RemOutdoors i completely agree, Anything worth spending that kind of money on should be something you could run down to the parts store or atleast order parts for online and install yourself, i love my old polaris for the fact that short of any engine work, replacing anything on it takes like 30 minutes or less and can be done with a socket set and a screwdriver. I like the idea of buying something new and modern, but i'd absolutely baulk if they told me i wasn't authorized to replace something when it wore out / broke and be more than pissed if they refused to sell me parts to do it. Anyways thanks for taking the time to reply!

Do u or any body else know how to adjust the engine break so ur rear wheels don't lock up when ur going down a steep hill
@jimmydesperado2936
@jimmydesperado2936 3 жыл бұрын
There is no adjustment for it. Technically it's not really an engine brake in the sense that the motor has a brake itself. It's actually a one way spindle bearing located at the axis point of the primary clutch. the best way to counter this brake when going down steep declines. Don't completely let off the throttle. Put the machine in low gear....and keep your thumb throttle lightly depressed turning the transmission. It's when you completely let off the throttle and start coasting....then hit the throttle that causes it to brake hard.
