As an owner from China.This one did gives me more than I expected. It's been a while since CFMoto been cooperate with KTM. To learn from the true gamer. Yes we've done some cheap stuff but that an inevitable path for every starter. Glad to hear that you appriciate this bike. Check out for 800MT and 1250TR-G and I'm pretty sure you r gonna get more surprised.

I just bought one here in the U.S, first bike, I honestly never been a fan of motorcycles but when I saw this one I just pushed myself to give it a try because it looks so good and honestly doesn't look like anything else out there. I absolutely love this bike. If you're on the fence about it, do it.

Hey, I never owned a bike before but just like you I am absolutely stunned about this bike. But I am scared to go first with this bike, should I maybe wait for the CLX 300 version? Is it "smaller", easy to handle, and get along with? (Im kinda short - 178cm - 5'10)

@@la_meczla It's a great bike to learn, I already put 600 miles on mine and feel like it's very easy to handle. I recently took the Motorcycle Safety Begginers Course with their 300cc bikes and I'm so glad I bought a 700, lots of power and it was easier for me to find the friction zone of the clutch on the 700.

I would say they fell on the gauge cluster because on the adventure bike when it’s much more refined and colorful also, for some reason, it cuts glare as well

The original CF 700 CLX heritage has the mirrors at the traditional place. I think this one is customised. Also the seat is in brown leather. I tested it in Greece and I agree, very good value for the money (6500 €). If I could, I will buy one as a second bike (I have a 1400 ZZR - 2020).

mate and I snapped only two available after testing a ducati 800 scrambler same power ,sold a ktm 790 duke great bike and the exhaust great a bit of a flat spot at 3000 rvs but gearbox great light clutch it's a copy of truimph trident but a twin

How is your experience with it? I tested it, and seriously thinking of getting one. Problem is I have 2 bikes and not sure where this one fits. Great price, seriously well equipped. I won't call it a copy of the trident, even if I squint really hard. It has its own design language going on.

Hi. I noticed during your review that the check engine light was turned on like in 13:01 and almost at the end of the video I was wondering if something was wrong during the test ride that you might not noticed or maybe forgot to mention . Cheers!

Looks good, and the Chinese are coming on strong, my only negative is that it's getting up near the price of the European and Japanese bike's, Trident 660, Yamaha xsr 700, z650, Ducati scrambler. All would have a better resale value second hand.

In Canada this bike has a 5 year warranty that's unusual for a motorcycle no matter what county it comes from and not every Japanese bike is made in Japan so I would be willing to buy one if I was interested

Mate, I live in Chile and they have warranty for 6 years for this model and CF 800 MT!!!. Guess what.. It was a game changer for me. My money went straight forward to this bike.. Next Monday I'll get mine from the dealership🥰

Biggest issue: Only 13l fuel tank. But apart from that very nice bike. Sounds good and looks good. I hope the long-term quality is good.

It is not heavy: 196 kg wet. I would be interested to see you ride it around the Cascais area. I wonder how much these are in Portugal.

Agree. Not heavy at all. I tested this bike recently, and it doesn't feel heavy. Slightly heavier than some super lightweights like MT07, but it comes with a lot more stuffs, cruise control for one, KYB adjustable forks for rebound/compression, etc.

@@user-sw2lv3zp6o If I'm in hooligan mode, the MT07 is sweet. Quick response. But if i'm riding normally with some WOT when the road straightens out, in the short period i had with it, i reckon the CLX is plenty fast to have a lot of fun. Performance like 0-100 and stuffs, actually I'm too old to care. Both put smiles on my face, and that is all that matters honestly. If you want warp speed performance, 150hp bikes are the tools for that.

"I can't see any issues" meanwhile the bike flashes error code P05712g. Looks great though, much better looking than the Kawasaki 650 but I feel like the Kawasaki would last longer. Brands like CFMoto need to offer extended warranties, to give customers confidence.

Yeah they are also notoriously heavy and the gearboxes are rough and loud. For the price it might be attractive to many but for refinement and reliability I'll get a tried and tested and always improving Japanese.

I've heard great things about this bike and would definitely consider buying one but why in the hell would they call it heritage? Heritage from what? CFMOTO doesn't have historical line to claim heritage from. That name on this bike makes no sense. Still......I'd love to own one.

Biggest issue is the engine, that's the KTM cancer engine, that even KTM doesn't use anymore...

It's based on a Kawasaki 650 engine, but with a longer stroke, not KTM. The Cfmoto 800mt is based on the KTM 790 engine.

Wrong!! The wet weight of this CLX is 196kg, comparable with the Suzuki SV650's wet weight of 197kg for the model with ABS, The CB500R has a wet weight of 192kg, and it has a smaller engine. Z650/MT07 is lighter, while the RE Interceptor 650 is heavier. So it is really middle of the pack for the parallel twin middleweights, won't really consider it as too heavy. Plus a few kilos here and there, we are really splitting hairs here.

@@kev7355 Have you tried the Benelli Leoncino 500? I'm wondering if I should go for the Benelli or the CFMoto. They're about the same price where I am and many say just get the 700cc if the price is not that much different. What do you think?
