Cfmoto 2016 zforce 800 Drive Belt Replacement.
I used a Ultimax UA drive belt, model UA484.
To break in a belt, use low gear (if available) while varying speeds and avoiding wide open throttle for 5 to 10 miles. If no low gear is available, vary at moderate speeds while avoiding wide open throttle for 50 miles.
Breaking in a belt is about more than a set number of miles and avoiding high engine RPM. It's about flexing the belt in the correct direction. The side faces need to wear and mate to the proper angle of the sheaves and wear into the correct friction. Cut belts are too sticky, while ground belts are too slippery when new. That wear needs to happen under low load and temperature. Belts run hotter when first installed and are more sensitive to high loads until they break in

Hu I have a ufirce 1000 what would Cause the secondary to stop spinning n not going into gear?

Any reason they don’t make this a chain ? Rented 2 buggy’s in the desert in Qatar and both the belts broke one straight away and one on mine when I was flat out on flat land, charged us £250 per buggy. Why would you put a rubber component in the driveline that can overheat so easily at high speed or high torque.

I agree, I like the Hondas with the drive shafts, little to no maintenance and are usually indestructible

They have the belts as most newer atvs use a CVT transmission

What did you use to clean the inside of the primary clutch

I sprayed it out with brake cleaner then wiped it down good after, cleaned out any dirt grease etc

You may want to drain the plug for your belt exhaust or intake looks like there some water in it.

It is extra fuel tank installed along with headed seat and backrest

What is the break in procedure for the new belt? That’s a very expensive belt.. you would want to break it in properly.. just looking out for you… xo

Have you checked your belt? I hope you will have free time this year to get your sxs out! @@PovertyPointCustoms I replaced my belt when I purchased the vehicle. Did you by chance wash the belt with soap and water before installing it?

My dealer suggested run in low gear 15 min at 15mph, shut down and let cool for 15 min. do two more times.This is how they break in every belt before racing them.
