In the beginning, it's almost all mechanical, he sets up the chess pieces almost without looking at the opponent's moves. This gives him a psychological advantage over the opponent, also due to the time he manages to save at the opponent's expense. Then comes the central moment of the game: he tries to reduce the pieces on the board, thereby reducing complexity and being wary of attacks. He then attempts to position Bishops and Queen on diagonals that intercept the opponent's King and uses Knights as raiders. He also tries to keep the opponent's Rooks away from their King's row. Then he prepares his pieces for 2 attack strategies. The fewer pieces there are, the more skilled he is at making fast moves, which increasingly annoy the opponent. Finally, he studies the opponent's eyes intently to understand their last move and their center of interest. In short, he rightfully doesn't have strategies longer than 3 moves, which allows him to be very flexible and ready for any scenario. He's very skilled and intelligent!

Nonsense. And I doubt he's played 'hundreds of thousand' of games so I suggest you keep your exaggerations to yourself. His behaviour is perfectly normal for his age. He fidgets, gets distracted and doesn't pay attention - that's normal behaviour for a child. I'm a retired behavioural scientist......so I know. What makes you an expert? And calling a child 'disturbed' is malicious, cruel and shows your ignorance. Be quiet.

At 7:32, Tweedledum took the bishop with his knight instead of the queen. If he had taken the queen, he may have won this game. I keep seeing comments that there is something wrong with Tweedledum. I think he is a normal kid his age who has been taught by someone who knows chess very well. Credit to M. Kutskevich here. He played a strong game. I'm enjoying watching Alice, Tweedledee, and Tweedledum play. I've been a teacher of children this age and they all seem like normal kids to me. Someone has done a good job of teaching chess to them and they are very good. If the two boys focused on the board more, I think they would be better than they are now. In this game, Tweedledum spent time looking around the room and I think that is what distracted him into making the mistake of not taking the queen when he had the chance. God's blessings...

Interesting how much "by the way" the boy's moves are... I encountered that some time before when watching "new" kids confronting very intelligent adults with more than astonishing solutions. Verbal or physical moves. What if his eyes are just wandering around being driven by the inner motor to be physically active... but if in the same instant he is scanning everything around. How old is he? 6, 7...? This boy should be in another physical sports, too. For the balance.

at 12:00 the kid knocks the black bishop by accident and then places it in the wrong place, the other guy notices and not only he doesn't say anything, he takes advantage of an innocent mistake that has nothing to do with chess, and takes profit off of it. Very, extremely lame. Big Loser IMO.
@clinicaltranscription119012 күн бұрын
The kid took white's knight with that black bishop. There were no mistakes made and all pieces were moved to correct places after the accidental knock down. You don't think the kid would have noticed and protested to the judge? He's a very sharp player and has shown not afraid to stand up for himself to judges. White just outplayed him this game.
