I left my abuser and fell madly in love with the man he hired to facilitate his access to the kids(I had a restraining order) that man fell madly in love with me too so he quit that job and we have been together ever since! Almost 10 years!! Pregnant within a year and a half of meeting and he became dad to my exes kids too! (Ex died of drug OD). Danielle!!!!! Enjoy giving birth this time while having someone there with you who truly loves and appreciates you!!!!!! It healed the wounds that I didn’t even know existed within my mother self to be able to experience childbirth with my sole mate by my side(for my previous 3 I did it by myself because that dad didn’t have the time to come) your future is sooooo bright, you are getting everything now that you always deserved!!!!!!

I am SO HAPPY FOR YOU!! My love and I have been together since high school so I guess in a way I can relate to the long term marriage deal but love is complicated. We are not married because I refuse to do that legal nonsense and we are more married than half th epeople we know legally bound. He is not vegan but has been and he treats me with so much respect. It has not been perfect but at almost 40 we are still kicking and people say just get married already. We just laugh. Like wtf do they think we have been doing all this time? Enjoy the journey!

As cliche as it is, Be your authentic self. Do the things you enjoy. Anyone worth your time is going to find you interesting upon seeing you across the room doing a shared hobby. Late summer / early fall are festival and fair seasons. Those are appealing to me for meeting new feoends. I met my love at a shared place of employment. It just happens sometimes.

We actually met on Bumble lol. I got bored during one of my kids trips and just wanted to see what I was facing considering I’ve never dated. It’s pretty ugly out there lol, I was not expecting to connect with anyone and was planning to delete the app when my kid came home but a few days in we matched and have been inseparable ever since.
