March Of Comics were giveaways at retail clothing shops like Sears and such, so if you’re ever looking for them in the Overstreet Price Guide, look in the Promotional section, before the regular section… Usually have store name stamps on the back of them in the large white, blank section on the back of each one, lucky if you have one that isn’t stamped, the series ran from the 1940’s-1980’s…

All good stuff mate, very interesting, you did some engaging story telling there, cool to hear the expectations and to see that they were at least met and often improved on. Some nice auction finds too. See you at the mart where you can buy lots of new stuff haha

When Dragon's Lair entered mall arcades in 1983, it was all the rage, I loved it, even though it cost 50 cents instead of the usual quarter; it was a quick game if you made the wrong move, so it was a real money pit... but since it was the first of its kind, with animation, it had a totally different, and, at the time, mind-blowing effect on this 14-15 year old. Did you have it in the UK?

Yes we did - it was in my Students Union Bar - it took a lot of student grant money !

@@SuddenlyComics That's awesome. Our Student Union didn't have a bar, but we had an arcade and pool tables.

I’d be genuinely curious what that 1950’s Marvel Tales 124 pre-code horror book would grade as after a clean and press…?🧟♂️
