Haha BRILLIANT video ... I love reducing grown men to smiling children :-) For anyone who sees this comment ... I've made a conscious decision to be ultra tight on grading so that no one is disappointed with what they buy, and so I'm half a grade tighter than I have been in the past. The internet site is currently OPEN but the re-stocking will occur on or slightly after 1st April 2025 (20,000+ new items for sale to add to the existing 20,000 items already there). Mark, yes I knew I sent you two copies of one comic ... because that's what you bought :-) Astounded that you are equally excited about the boards as you are about the comics hehehe :-) Looking forwards to the next box I send you which looks like it might be full of high grade Batman & Detective 100 pagers ! Thanks for a great video and a superb advert for Splat Comics ! :-)

Great bunch of comics! I loved picking up many of those Eclipse, Blackthorn, etc. reprints back in the 80’s! There was a lot of passion in putting those issues together back then and they tried various techniques to copy/restore/present the stories as best they could. ❤

What a bunch of comics and a half they were... Darren spoils us! I remember having a few of those Weird Worlds, when I had a few bob and had already bought the usual ones! Long gone now! Those 9.8 boards are made from MDF, I beleive, great idea! I imagine you still need a few hundred with your collection, lol?

British black magic are definitely difficult to find but when you do find them, a great feeling comes over us

You are correct in saying that the British "Black Magic" comics are difficult to come by. There was a Len Miller connection. I think they were actually published by Arnold Book Company with Arnold Miller being the son of Len. I think Jensen were a printing company in Oadby so they *might* have had something to do with Thorpe and Porter.

That Australian Batman and the Black Magic reprint ones are really nice pickups, those From Beyond The Unknowns were nice grabs as well. I got a bottle of Dove Body Spray in the box I got!

Haha Tempus !! The most random "free gift" to get in a box full of comics .. it was empty however :-)
@tmpsfrommars8 күн бұрын
The fact that it was empty was the most dissapointing part mate 😄
