People realize that for live signings you can take the book out of the grader bag as long as the cgc witness is there at the table.

I love the concept, but as another commenter has mentioned, there is a limited signing area. In almost all the examples, including the featured JSC signed book, the signatures are outside of the signing area. In addition, collectors like to "control" the signing area since they aren't in person to ask for specific locations. What may be more helpful are bags that had quadrants available or an overall larger singing window. It looks like you can safely remove at least a 1/2" from the surround of the current design.

My main concern is @ 0:17 when he slides the book over to his right, he clearly has his fingers on the cover, as it has a possibility to get fingerprint oil and knocking it down a grade (I've seen it before, when sent to CGC it had no fingerprints but came back with fingerprints so that could have been why). When making our own window bags we only cut out what is needed, leaving the rest of the comic protected during signing. With your window bags it makes most of the front cover exposed for no reason. The thought is there but the execution could have been better. Just make it with no window cut out. Then I can mark and cut where it is needed. That way I wouldn't need to use blue tape, because with the yellow bag you could clearly see where it has been cut out.

@@SAGAtoday It really depends. If you were to just get it signed in person by yourself and not getting it graded by CGC then bags wouldn't necessarily be needed. Though if you are sending in your book, or at a convention and you want it to go to CGC for grading after it was signed then a window bag would be required, and if grading score is what you are after then fingerprints would be an issue as well. It really boils down to personal preference.

In every example image you show in this video, there is a signature outside the window. Doesn't seem that well thought-out if you keep showing examples of places signatures wouldn't be able to be made in every example. I used some Ultra-Pro signature bags with bigger windows and still had to cut them more to get signatures ideally placed.

If I want them to sign in conner like 0:24 the CGC bags do not give that option. No Golden Age Option as well. People get low-grade Golden Age books signed all the time.

Not good, this does not stop the signer from over signing the window area onto the bag itself. Additionally the window flap coming down on top of wet ink is not good.

The purpose of a window bag is to show the artist exactly where you want them to sign. In that respect these bags are worthless. Meticulously thought out? More like half-assed.
