CGDI MB ~Erase ECU ME9.7

1 Follow the diagram to wiring .(steps similar with EGS and ISM )
2 The ECU status ,if "personalized " option not marked ,but "Activated " option marked .It should be the ECU has been erased by other tool . This status may will erase fail . you need to put it back to car to activate it first ,or use other tool to activate it . Then use CGMB to erase .
3 After software show you ''erased successfully " , you need to read the ECU status to check if it correct erase . if not , reboot your device ,do it again
4 If erase password can not calculate , send your file to CG tech support .They can help you to calculate
5 After you erased succeed , put back to car .need sincronize with autel, star diagnosis etc

I try to erase. It say erase successfully. But still personalized. Only activated was removed. Why?

It should be can use too , put it back to car ,do sync

Erase ECU ,then put back to car .use other device to adapt it in car .then done

In mercedes the ecu be locked to the car so u need to virginize the ecu to get it coded abd adapted to the new car

Have tried it and information like vin and serial number not showing
