Alphen and Shionne is the rare HeroxHeroine pair that actually turn official though especially lately. The last was in Graces F while after that it is just ship tease. It doesn't exist in Zesti and Berseria and Vesperia. It used to be more common too...

@@HadeaRin but their dynamic kinda works like that. At least it’s a gradual thing not an immediate one. I actually like the tag line of this recent game: “in order to save the world, they have to save themselves first”, as evidence of those 2 since both have a “curse” on them =v= And yeah, I’m kinda familiar with Tales a bit…just not really a pro about the cast since some seasons have sequels along with them and they’re so many, some even have connections to other seasons before or after the events of their story. Aside from the recent Arise, I only know a bit of Abyss (because of the anime), Symphonia (the ost), Berseria and Zestiria (because of the 4 elements). Other than that, that’s it ^^;

@@curepanda2646 Well I guess it is unfortunate for you to stub on me here since I played all series of Tales I have most of their scenario memorized, including the jp-only title. Almost all of them are stand-alone title except one that has clear number in their name so you can go with whatever actually and miss nothing of previous title. It is almost like Final Fantasy in the way of their numbering. Also again, when putting spoiler, give an actual space to hide the content.

@@HadeaRin oh so I can watch/play any of them at random? But overall, the main gist of their story is almost the same as the rest? Just handled differently per each one, like how FF does it (im more into FFXIV. The story in that one gets even more chaotic, in a good way I mean)

I really enjoyed Alphens and Shionnes character arc. You could predictably see the romance from a mile away, but it just made it more satisfying to reach there.

I would argue she's a deconstruction, considering the fact that she always has to make excuses for being kind is portrayed as a very bad thing. Not only does it exacerbate Rinwell's already sour opinion of her, but Alphen can clearly see that her actions don't match her words, and can't understand why she keeps people at arm's length even considering her curse.

I thought she was a kuudere cuz she doesn’t smile a lot and she acts so serious. She has a tsundere personality like the way she shows angry when alphen is flirting with him.

@@Typabishgirl The more you play, the more you realize Shionne isn't even very good at Tsundere, because her kindness is so obvious, even to random NPCs she heals, that her act looks a little silly.

One thing perplexes me on the bonding system. When are we able to do chats at the campfire? Cause when I did one for Shionne I saw Rinwell and Law had chats available too, but now I can't access them after making camp again. Any ideas?
