I like both voice options, but I was really surprised at how good the English was. We have come a long way from the days of older RPGs that had atrocious voice acting. There was a JRPG for the Wii that was almost totally ruined for me because of the translation and voice acting.

Maybe. I find it interesting that the only part of them that is not completely biological is their heart. And then when they rip it out it's a weird bio-organic Clockwork thing that they engrave their own words on by speaking into it.

Combat is closer to SMT, it even has the Press Turn system instead of One More. Many of the thematics are similar to Persona, but it leans fully into the fantasy instead of the modern era, which helps it have a clear storyline and goal from the start
