I discovered your channel like 3 or 4 months back from searching risk on youtube and I binged like all your risk videos and when those ran out I watched your territorial vids. I noticed you weren't really uploading those types of games anymore but I still subbed because I enjoyed the videos that much. Glad to hear your bringing back these games!

I see a lot of comments saying how they were only watching you for territorial and risk and loved those videos and are glad you're "back". They probably haven't seen the countless community posts you put that said you got bored of it and wanted to do variety content (among other things), and it's sad people aren't realizing that. I found your channel about a year ago back when you were playing risk, and when you first transitioned, I didn't watch your videos. But then I started liking the variety content and the hidden gems you played. Love you CG❤

@@FireFlanker1 Never thought about that actually. I guess it would be extremely hard to completely diverge off from territorial and risk and still be successful. But the thing is, he's not happy playing just risk, and if he only plays map games, he'll be too well known for map games (as he already is) and won't become as successful as other youtubers who hop on trends (but I think CG is better at playing variety games and hidden gems than hopping on trends. It's just the way he is). It really is a lose-lose situation for him (Either he plays map games and is somewhat successful but bored and tired of them, or he does what he likes but doesn't get many views) So I do think it's best for him to try out new things and try to find the best of both worlds.

There is a new mechanic to call for peace, declare victory on the exit sign. Exit > More > call for peace. You dont need to pick up all the pixels.

Something that kills your viewership in the algorithm is how much of a video a single person watches if they only watch 60% then you recommended less and less, if there is a lot of skipping around then its less as well.

As far as the discussion on the KZbin success plan goes, here's some relevant info from my end: I was watching you for your Territorial IO content. In the six-odd months since you've stopped, I have literally NOT been recommended your videos / channel until this upload. This is to say that your assumptions & plan are even more on the money than you had thought, and seemingly for "algorithm-based" reasons in addition to (or potentially even moreso than) any active, intentional choice by your viewers to watch / not watch you've videos.

I'll be honest CG (can I call you CG?), I came for IO as it's a game I play. I don't care whether you win or not, or what you talk about. You have a very nice voice for narrating and I'm perfectly fine if you choose these games to rant on. I enjoy your other videos and the games you play but when it's not something I play, I for one lose interest. In the end, do what you think is best and don't feel like you need to live up to some standard (I can understand if this is your source of income, but loyal viewers will watch regardless).
