This game is one of the hardest freaking games I have ever played. The first few areas aren't so bad, but once you get into it, my god it's insane.

This was one of my fav. games I played on the 360. I think people who hate this game don't like hard games and idolize the original. I have both, and like both but this game had emergent gameplay, great graphics and overwhelming music.

I inherited this game when my bro in law passed. It's definitely on my to-play list! Also, a shame CGR never went on to become a massive, mainstream hit with 6M subs, for example. U know that in an alternate universe, CGR really did go on to become massively popular.

This seems like a decent game, but i think i would just rather get Prototype or something like that and then pick up Rearmed.

Finally, though I am still hoping Mark will cover it. And the campaign is no 15-20 hr length, 10hrs is pushing it if you die a lot. Great game though, plays very well, it is rough on some edges though, but this is a franchise I hope Capcom goes back to soon, and maybe next time they can actaully advertise it.

This looks awesome. Sweet mechanics and aesthetic. Don't care about multiplayer or replayability. Will pick it up when it gets cheap.

@futoncat yeah but some games you need to show the later parts of the game for example Fist of the North Star Kens Rage starts pretty boring and slow but after you level up and get skills it gets fast and alot of fun ..sorry if i sounded ignorant but it just seems like they do

I paid $20 and had a great time with this game. You have to admit that it was a solid attempt of doing a sequel from an NES game form 1988. did it have issues? yea? could it have been better? yes. SHould they give it another shot? absolutely. Im glad Rearmed 2 is coming next year but i feel that this game was cool and different. id like to see another installment in this fashion.

@cornchippers You heard right. Capcom's biggest mistake was bringing Bionic Commando into 3D without building up the strengths of the old games.

This game will be frustrating at times, but you need to learn to use the arm to you advantage. It looks good, it plays well and it is NOT easy. Unique game.

I got this game the day it came out (My birthday--May 19th!) and I thought it was awesome. I was SHOCKED when I found out that the rest of the world thought this game sucked. I usually have great taste about these things. Oh well. I had fun.

this game is easily a cheap thrill you can get this game hella cheap. It had so much potential but due to poor navigating and tricky gunplay and level design. Just try it as a used buy and if you don't like it too much get your 12.50 back.

Wha- Seriously? Okay, look. I liked the game, but... Some of stuff in this review is just wrong... First of all, the game doesn't take NEARLY that long to beat. I'm sure the average person can make it through this game in under 10 hours at most. Second, the story isn't dark as much as it's... Weird. I'm sure most people who know the twist will agree. Well, this game and review are pretty dated now, so I doubt anyone cares. Still, pick it up, I guess.
