I found this game for 50 cents at my local Salvation Army. I said, "Sure, why not?!" and bought it. Best I can say it was worth the price of admission. Graphics ok. Audio ok. Gameplay...eh. But an interesting showcase for Disney properties.

This game... is SO hard!! I don’t understand how it was designed for children. It’s clunky, repetitive, and it doesn’t even save your progress! You have to type in the “passcodes” every time you restart the game. Now I just need to find Little Mermaid for PS1 because that game was amazing.

+CarozQH They "talked" in terms of chirping/squeaking/etc. That and using body language to communicate. They didn't speak to her exactly. But yeah, I have no clue about that text in the game.

In the spirit of 2 posts, The art for this game looks pretty impressive TBH, and there are little effects in this game that seem like it's a surprise they felt they needed to include it. I honestly expected this game to look much worse. That said, how can you hate Modern or 90s/80s disney either?! I mean, DuckTales, Rescue Rangers, Talespin, Gargoyles! Beauty and the Beast, Lion King, Aladdin, Rescuers Down Under!?! Then we got Big Hero 6, Bolt, Wreck-it Ralph! No self-respecting video game fan hates Wreck-it Ralph! Respect yourself Fernando! Respect Yourself!

Why would they make a platform game based on the Disney Princess license when they could have easily made a game based on Disney's Robin Hood which would have made more sense than this game?

Stelios78910 Well Derek is certainly not what is usually called a "man". but I would be fairly happy, if he would be capable of doing good (GBA) reviews. Problem is: he isn't or he isn't willing to. TJ would be able to pull this of, genius Mark of course too, or Brandon or Stella. Even i would be better at it. Derek simply needs to find something in life that he is good at and move on (and lose some weight).

What a wasted game. This is worst than "Barbie" for the NES. I used to played it and I can't get passed any of the stages. You play as one of the classic princesses from Disney's past. I've seen the animated films in the past, and so does the movie soundtracks on vinyl, but the game is awful. "The Little Mermaid" for the NES was an easy game, and that was Capcom in 1989 THQ was the company that made this game, same company that did "Where's Waldo", the worst puzzle game ever on the NES, and so does "Rocky & Bullwinkle", and that's also bad. The Jasmine level is where she can get coins. No Aladdin, no Genie, no Jafar, nothing. Play the SNES and Sega Genesis version of "Aladdin" and you'll be good to go. Speaking of this game, there was another game for the PS2 called "Disney Princess Enchanted Journey" and it was godawful. You played as an unknown girl with a wand and you have to shoot enemies. The big problem is she can't die, and can't lose a life , and there was no way to die. I played that game and I beat the entire game, and the ending sucks. After the ending, it goes to the unlocked levels where you can explore around the areas that you're already cleared the stage. These two I don't recommend them, and they all sucked. This was back when there was no Anna, no Elsa, no Princess Leia from "Star Wars", who knows.
