Even without online as long as you have a group of friends willing to devote time learning and playing this it is a must buy.

Yeah, the only way it would really hurt you if you thought you were getting the game for free through PS Plus, paying for a subscription. I think $17.99 is their cheapest package. I did decide to renew mine, only because a year is $49.99, which is less than $5 a month. But yeah, they games all go back to demo mode if you haven't bought them.

Which is what people SHOULD do to video games. Just play them and have fun. I have the 3DS version, but it isn't arcade edition, just regular SSF4. Oh how I wish the arcade edition was DLC for the 3DS.

Ok! This game will be remembered for the best fighting game of this generation. Like Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike was for the precedent one... It's quite interesting for a franchise presumed dead at a certain point....

this game seriously need a tutorial... im a casual gamer and picked this up cheap... last street fighter ive played was on the n64... and it isnt really good for newcomers like mortal kombat and the likes... but kinda fun and nostalgic

On PS3 for whatever reason, you need 2x the space that it actually needs. I think it's because PS3 doesn't install AS it downloads, so it needs room for the file and the install. PS4 sounds like it will be all cloud streaming or disc, which may or may not be a good thing.

That's why subtitles exist. Unless he REALLY needs to hear 'hadoken' said with an accent. I understand it's personal preference, but I've been hearing their Japanese voices for over 7 years so its strange hearing Ryu scream Japanese words with an accent.

Well I'm not sure how I would feel about that, but personally I'd prefer to clearly understand what they are saying. It's like in the Samurai Warrior game for the 3DS, it's okay, but it get's annoying because every single line of dialoge is in Japanese, and if you wan't to fallow the story, then you need to make sure that you don't move your head for a second or you'll miss a line of subtitles and there is no option to change the language.

Technically, it's not free. When you have PS+Plus you're paying for a service because once your membership ends you can't play the game. I found this out when I picked up God of War collection and it had a free month of PS+Plus. I thought I'd be able to have and play the "free" games whenever I wanted them, but once the service ends you're not able to play the game, for example, RE5. Just sayin'

When they're screaming attack names throughout the match, it can get grating hearing things pronounced oddly. Imagine Jojo's Bizzare Adventure (the fighting game) with English voice acting.

Seth is much harder then Sho Khan. At least with Sho Khan you win by spamming projetiles at him. With Seth, you have to think of a stragey depending on who u play as.
