I wish you every prospects in your life Coming to Dr. Nanditaji and Sri. Mukundji both are highly talented and have wonderful concept of conducting Demo Classes for the Noble Cause. They are so appreciatve of talents that they forget themselves while listening to talented artists. Especially l have seen them uttering Waah hundreds of times while madam Savaniji was singing. I am obsessed with this series of programme. It is absolutely best. It would be nice if the artist or the hosts explains the terms like "Sampoorn Jaati Raag", it will help us to be little more educated along with enjoying the music. Sawanee is truly queen of Tarana I might say.

Sampoorna jati means the raga in which all sevan swaras are included..

7 notes are there. Up and down. 7-7 is the sampurn jaati raaga. That means 7notes while going up, 7notes while going down. Raagas can be 7-7, 6-7,7-6, 6-6, 5-7, 7-5, 5-6,6-5, 5-5 etc. All combination with 5/6/7.

Very nice. My opinion is that Ragas do not have a specific time for singing. It is rather that when you sing the raga perfectly, it brings a feeling in the listener that it is night, morning, or evening or raining etc.
