Pro Tip: The VR world and real world exist as two separate areas in the game. What can happen a lot in this chapter is the VR music men and the real world music men are not in the exact same place. Sometimes the VR ones are a bit slow and lag behind the real world ones. This means if you put on your mask the music men can be in a very different spot than where you saw them and kill you. To get around this make sure to always wait a few extra seconds for the VR music men to travel away from the area you are going to. Then put on your mask to deactivate the node.

I kinda got that but it’s with the Wet Floor bots where you deactivate them in AR but going into the real world they repeat the deactivating animation

I had a problem at 2:40 the music men would go to cam 2. But then one or two would go back to the child node. The solution (if anyone else is having the problem) is to lure them to cam 2, then without a moment of hesitation, go to the node and deactivate it before one of the music men come back and kill you. But this guide really helped, thanks.

for some reason me and what seems to be a few others have an issue where the majority or some of the mini music men will stay at the bowling shoe regardless of using the camera, does anyone have any ideas on how to counter this besides trying to deactivate the node before they catch you? edit: ..i just died over and over until eventually they all moved 😀

You have to be careful because there are several music men in the area that look like they aren't active. But if you cross a certain point they activate and chase you down. These little guys are surprisingly sneaky.

I have a concern, there is always atleast 1 music man that is not with the crowd and decides to activate

There are some music men that are deactivated in the hallways, but if you get too close to them then they activate. So try to keep away from all of them even if they look inactive. They are very persistent in chasing if you activate them.

These tutorials are good but after deactivating 2 of them and when i go down the stairs always 1 activates even tho i deactivated it

Sometimes there are a few that only activate if you get near them. But once you deactivate all 3 stations then they shouldnt activate anymore.

I wait a few seconds just to make sure they all move. One thing to know is sometimes the real world and vr world are not completely synced. So if u put ur mask on in an area that looks safe, but in vr world a music man is there, then they kill you as soon as you put on the mask. So just wait a bit before putting the mask on.

Remember that the VR and real worlds can sometimes not synch properly. So you can lure them away in the real world, then dont put on your mask until you are at the glitch.

Be careful when you walk to the camera. There are some music men in the halls that activate when you get close and follow you.
