Thanks again for another great video. If your finished plane is half as good as your video production, it'll be an outstanding aircraft. I had a thought to add about techniques to catch metal shavings from drilling out the rivets around the 4:20 mark. Is the blue tape single-sided painter's tape or perhaps double-sided tape? The latter might help to capture some of the small shavings as they fall from the drilling and minimize the amount that'd be free to fall into hard to reach areas or that might fall from the towel as it's picked up and moved. Keep posting, and we'll keep watching!

Why didn't you just slide the new piece inside the old one and clamp it. That way you would have to cut the old one in half. It looked like it fit inside the old one pretty good.

I have used sticky tray rat traps for catching debris..........nothing comes off of that stuff..

Because they can. Second acft I worked, but block 10's. If that shows my age a bit, I might mention I worked F-4's before that.
