I am late commenting on this, but for those that do not understand the significance of this, let me put something into perspective: Futari was originally released in arcades in 2006. In 1.5, N-Palm became clearly the weakest character, the trade off being that his shot and laser strengths are closest together in damage for "balanced" scoring compared to the other characters. It was ultimately better to use anyone else and learn how to use them instead however. No one beat Futari Ultra with N-Palm for more than 10 years because it clearly was not playtested as Cave wanted to push the hardware at the time to it's limits in Ultra mode rather than make sure that this is a reasonable clear with all character type combinations. This video is the first proof of N-Palm clearing Ultra since the game was released in 2006. Saying this is hard is an understatement, I dare say it is the absolute hardest achievement someone could pull off in a shmup because of how insane of a handicap it is to use N-Palm. You could use Abnormal Palm and kill bosses twice as fast easily, if not more that is how weak Normal Palm is. This is one of those things that I had written off as truly impossible and used as a joke every so often, but lo and behold, this magnificent bastard actually clears with Normal Palm. If I ever meet this guy, I will buy him the finest meal that he desires. He earned it with the hell he went through getting this.

Actually, put a hold on that Marisa thought. What about beating Inbachi? I mean we’ve yet to still beat it legit in a 1cc run after 10+ years!

Something to say…… Several days ago ERC finished world’s first Futari ver1.01 Ultra Palm Normal All Clear, and the first thing he said after the clear was “finally I can catch up with Rescue”. Rescue has been a legend even after so many years.
