香港新天彩潮剧团1963年鼎盛时期录制的一部电影，故事讲述相府千金刘翠屏彩楼抛球，将终身许与穷书生吕蒙正，却遭严亲反对而逐出家门。蒙正夫妇，含辛茹苦，风雨同舟，最后蒙正终于独占鳌头，状元及第，夫妻否极泰来，寒梅吐艳。

It was several decades ago when, as a kid, I watched this movie over Singapore's Channel 8. The impression was indelible. It is a very well-made movie, with an engaging plot and lovable characters, and of course for the star draw of Tan Chor Hui. Wish the video version is available! Thanks for sharing the audio recording. Love the artwork at the start of the clip and the stills. Very nice!
