潮岬について
本州最南端に位置し、潮岬灯台や観光タワーから
太平洋を眺めると地球が丸く見えます。
太陽が沈む頃は夕日が美しく、
波の音を聞きながら美しい景観が楽しめます。
本州最南端の石碑などがあり、
その昔、海軍の望楼（物見櫓）があったところで、
「太陽の出て没るまで青岬」と山口誓子によってうたわれているように、
眼前には緩やかな弧をえがいて太平洋が広がり、
地球が丸いことが実感できます。
冬のある時期には、水平線から昇った太陽が同じ水平線上に
沈む光景を見る事が出来ます。
東にある紀伊大島とともに、熊野地方を代表する観光地となっています。
また、吉野熊野国立公園および南紀熊野ジオパークの一角をなします。
日本でも有数の台風銀座であり、
台風の位置を示す指標にされることが多いです。

About Cape Shionomisaki
Located at the southernmost tip of Honshu, from Shionomisaki Lighthouse and Tourist Tower
When you look at the Pacific Ocean, the earth looks round.
When the sun goes down, the sunset is beautiful
You can enjoy the beautiful scenery while listening to the sound of the waves.
There is a stone monument at the southernmost tip of Honshu,
A long time ago, where there was a Navy watchtower (watch tower)
As Yamaguchi Seishi sang, "Until the sun rises and sets, Ao Misaki"
The Pacific Ocean spreads out in front of you with a gentle arc.
You can feel that the earth is round.
At some time in winter, the sun rising from the horizon is on the same horizon
You can see the sinking scene.
Along with Kii Oshima in the east, it is a tourist destination that represents the Kumano region.
It is also a part of Yoshino Kumano National Park and Nanki Kumano Geopark.
It is one of the leading typhoons in Japan,
It is often used as an indicator of the location of a typhoon.

ごつごつした岩山と波の柔らかな動きが対象的で面白いです。岩山の白と波の白さは同じ白でもかなり違って感じました。時間を忘れてみていました。
