Salut! The ceramic plates were made during the Ottoman Empire era and seem to have originated from the city of Iznik (Türkiye). The ceramics are still produced in Iznik. The city is very popular for that.

As for the place....I don't know,I watch with big interest but this time I don't have a crystal understanding of what I like exactly. As you said Anton, its quite rich. Its intense and complex to me. Too much going on there :) It feels a bit heavy,but not in a bad way. Perhaps one need to take time to go around and process all the food for the eyes and the mind. A lot to see for sure. Sinan, telling us about the Othomans part,I could feel your personal emotion in it. That's always nice. Its quite interesting what you ve said regarding the scent that goes around,Anton. Wood,leather,other stuff,perfumery hint...I'm all about that undetected,pleasant scent mistery going around there. I love the way you are giving such verbal expression of the stuff you are feeling. I don't know,I like details and also make me wonder and imagine what did you feel at that exact moment when you were there. Hmm....Thank you a lot,guys! Another fantastic place for sure. Perhaps it’s due to the darker rooms that makes the place feel heavy. Also, the weather was not the brightest that day ☺️ Sinan def got excited when he realized it was Ottoman porcelain 😂😂 it definitely shows! It’s a unique château, we think it should be more advertised. It’s not far from Paris, after all.
