A beautiful ,big chandelier in the dining room would really show off that gorgeous ,original ceiling. You have very comfortable looking bedrooms with breath taking views. Your students are very blessed to have such wonderful rooms. You did a really good job working with dated bathrooms,they look fantastic for the lovely touches you added. The old drapes fit in beautifully so don’t even worry about that,right now!

My husband and I hosted small groups of 4 or less once a year for only 2 weeks in our 1400 sq foot home from 1990 to 1999. We have priceless memories of that time. I can’t imagine the amount of work you have now that it’s “TIME”.... for 20! 😱 Don’t forget to take lots of still of pictures for the “class picture wall”. The history of the house continues and in a magnificent way. Enjoy the fruits of you labor and to God be the glory. ♥️ And I look forward to hearing what you learn as well. I was always surprised by the things we learned as from our students.

@@donnagross4638 We would also have best picture of the year. Each student submits their ONE favorite picture. The pictures taken by the students are many times things the host never gets to see. These things happen in the background, and as hosts you are so busy trying to manage a 100 details all at once, making sure everything is running smoothly you miss these precious moments, but the students catch them for you. Have a best picture competition, you wont regret it. You could even put all them on a disc and give them as parting gifts.

Love your setup in the kitchen. You’re so mindful of your pets, staff,children. And the kitchen is large with lots of pantry storage in nice,old pieces of cabinetry. Great job!

After binge watching all of your videos I’m not sure how it is that I missed those pink? coloured marble inlay panels in the breakfast room and on the first floor landing columns and around the room on the shutter compartments etc.. are they the old style of paint to look like marble or real marble? Either way they are absolutely gorgeous! I love the grandeur of your chateau, she’s a beauty. It would’ve been amazing to see her in her heyday filled with all the furniture etc, I was born in the wrong time lol.. Best of luck for you both and your students. Wow, what a tour! Prayers were answered. Rob & Leslie you have to return that call from those TV(?) people! Leslie's work is amazing on a tight budget. Fans, make sure you watch some of the advertisements. That generates income for further renovations; a larger more powerful lawn mower; roof repair; antique furniture; paint; curtains; decorative carpets; brass cookware; lighting; ceiling for the basement kitchen etc.

It funny looking around my home I could decorate and use most of it in a chateau. Trust me I’m not bragging. I worked hard on all my second hand furniture and got some antiques hand me downs along the way. I love to decorate and paint. Very artistic. So I can make things look expensive on a budget 💜🌈💜
