My dad is 100 years old and still healthily living , he consumes rolled oats three meals per day ,no milk but little honey and chinese red dates and pumpkin seeds ,walnuts with the oatmeal. He also takes steamed sweet potatoes, pumpkin and yam to go along with his oatmeal, so far so good , his blood test was perfect and doctor was surprised and marvelled with the test's result of a 100 years old man like him .
everybody is talking about blood sugar and frightened of it, starting from when I was a kid, I ate lots of sweets, sugar and deserts, drink lots of coke, sometimes a few cans a day, its been 65 years and seems like there is no problem of that. I do believe all those problems related to high blood sugar or insulin resistance etc etc are all caused by nowadays human behavior when large % of people sitting there all day long with their computers or playing with their smart phones, when I was young, I move all day long and never like sitting on a chair, and I was working in a supermarket loading boxes and boxes of goods everyday, therefore I actually need lots of sugar in blood to supply me fuel for my muscles. Food is not the culprit causing the problem, not moving is the culprit since there is no chance to use up the sugar that you ate.
I fully agreed what Dr.Berg shared for create awareness. I took a lot of oat to reduce my cholestrol level. Everytime i took oat, i have a lot of mucus, but i just ignored it. Now i have thyroid eye disease😢
I'm a senior citizen and having oats with honey and milk for breakfast all my life I think I'm alright. So it it ok I still go on with this regimen?Btw health wise I'm doing well. Please enlighten tq.

I’d say different people having the same diet meal plan will come out with different results so yeah if you are feeling good and healthy just keep on doing what you been doing

I was watching Dr Berg’s KZbin video for a long time! And I really appreciate you have Chinese subtitles as well! But after watching the subtitles so many episodes I found out it is really hard to understand of that person does not speak Chinese at all!! Can you guys consider finding a better translation tool or person? 🙏🙏🙏 my point is if you want to provide subtitles why not make sure that person actually do a good job? Otherwise it defeats the purpose.

吃完無糖燕麥血糖會飆高+1 不是不能吃 而是別天天吃 更別煮太爛 或冷後更爛時食用

I think u should take "Rolled Oat" instead of "Oatmeal". It can solve your doubt about oat.
