CH885 Wicked Good Whole Tree Biomass Chipper

This big ConeHead is only 700hp - small by competitor measures of hp - but performs great because the Cone drum requires less energy per cut, because it slices instead chopping as every other drum chipper does - it's a hungry booger!

Seems to eject the feed half the time, - why.? - Wood too big, or, just can't take the quantity that's being stuffed in it.

Christopher Lovelock it’s made like that so it keeps the rpm up when chipping,also chip Quality .

it needs side-rollers that also roll and pull the wood in.

It's hard to see but it does have vertical rollers just in front of the horizontal roller.

I shortly am going to need a bigger one than what we have now. I'm certainly NOT impressed with this at all. I need production - fast, - and this, whatever 'head' it has in it does not impress me at all, it seems to eat small 'trunks' far better than the 'tops', it's forever pushing them back - oh yes, and a decent operator definitely. I can see it's either going to be a Pezzolato or a Morbark with CAT engines.

This is a much better configuration and user friendly. Trailer designs are also much better in that they don't have 2 engines and can't move if something happens to the truck portion.
