Truly a Haunting and poignant tribute to her dear friend Freddy. In my humble opinion I find this version so moving . Of course the original is always the best and I try not to do comparisons with singers who adapt a classic to accommodate their vocal range. So I listen as if it is a brand new song. Some I have heard are woeful. I find a few seconds and that is it. I am old enough to remember what Queen did at Wembley Live Aid! I watched the whole event as a teenager, knowing it was down the road from where I lived then. When Freddie sang this song then , I was spell bound by his delivery, the poetry, the words! His expression, voice so rich , knowing the right tone , taking us on an emotional roller coaster! When he passed and it was revealed that he knew then he was going to die , broke my heart and made this song resonate even deeper! There will never be another Freddie Mercury, goes without saying but there will never be another Sarah Brightman or Deanna Durbin, and many others. Sarah , like Freddie takes you on an hypnotic journey through music, dance, with grace, sensuality and artistry. Freddie was a Master of performance, dance, exploration of the soul through music. I love both version's for different reasons and can respect the delicacy and reverence Sarah shows when singing this. It is like she is lifted up to the Heaven's to pay homage to Freddie as she sings. So thank you to both of them. Freddie is with us through his music. A giant Master of his craft! That is why we still talk of him so warmly some thirty or so years since he passed. For me Sarah's tribute to her friend Freddie is the best and most touching tribute I have heard.

Tinha um DVD aqui em casa com esse clipe e de outras cantoras, esse DVD foi danificado então eu perdi a oportunidade de rever o clipe e lembrar o nome da cantora e da música. Isso foi a no mínimo uma década. Dez anos ou mais eu passei buscando essa música mas incapaz de achar por que não sabia nenhum nome e tampouco saberia uma única frase da letra né. Me deparei com a canção original no assistindo o filme Highlander dos anos 80 bem descontraída, e a nostalgia felizmente foi forte o suficiente pra me motivar a pesquisar a canção e por conseguinte, seus covers, e daí TA-DAH! Aqui a música que passei anos buscando. Pense numa pessoa feliz!
