Hi Chachi!! I'm a Baker/ Pastry chef and I have a really great and easy recipe I'm sure you will like. They are the best Chewy Chocolate chip cookies. Give them a try, if you have any questions I would be happy to help. The Best Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies Servings: 12 INGREDIENTS ½ cup sugar ¾ cup brown sugar, packed 1 teaspoon salt ½ cup butter, melted 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1¼ cups all-purpose flour ½ teaspoon baking soda 4 ounces milk or semi-sweet chocolate chunks 4 ounces dark chocolate chunks (or your preference) PREPARATION Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C. Paddle attachment on mixer In a separate bowl. Sift the flour, baking soda add the chocolate chips and set aside. In the mixer bowl with paddle attachment, add the sugars, salt, and butter until a paste has formed with no lumps. Add the egg and vanilla, beating until light ribbons fall off the paddle. Add the dry ingredients, mix until incorporated, being careful not to overmix. This will cause the gluten in the flour to toughen which will result in cakier cookies. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes. For a more intense toffee-like flavor and deeper color, chill the dough overnight. The longer the dough rests, the more complex its flavor will be. Scoop the dough with an ice-cream scoop onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet, leaving at least 4 inches of space between cookies and 2 inches of space from the edges of the pan so that the cookies can spread evenly. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges have started to barely brown. Cool completely, and enjoy!

My mom always took the cookies out just a few minutes before they are done, and let them cool on the counter. And store them in a baggie or air tight container with a piece of bread to make them last longer. 🥰

Take the cookies out a minute or 2 before they’re actually done!! They cook a little on the pan when you take them out of the oven.

I'm a lazy baker so I usually make bar cookies. A really good drop cookie recipe for soft chocolate chip cookies though, I found thru another YTer who said she found it on a site called Sally's Baking Addiction. The recipe is called The Best Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies.🍪🍪
