I suggest he THINKS he knows what he is doing. His aggressive hostility (often over inconsequential matters) alienates the witnesses, thereby, offering up less to him. In other words, his viciousness has great potential to shoot his client in the foot. He knows his client is cloaked in guilt and that this case is going to a criminal hearing. So he's using his time, not to defend his client in the preliminary hearing, but to glean evidence to defend him in the criminal hearing, thereby fattening up his bank account.

It sounds to me that Mr. Prior got his facts confused on who had an auditory issue. He kept pressing Melanie on whether or not she had been diagnosed with a problem as if she would've had a hearing problem or diagnosis without her own knowledge of it. Clearly, David is the person who had a hearing problem. He has made a few statements that made it appear that he was unprepared, incompetent and mixing up facts between each witness. Plus he kept asking the same questions over and over, spending so much time on a single question, and even confusing a bunch of things making it difficult to even understand what he was asking the witnesses causing everyone else to be confused on what the hell he was doing. He may have been doing it on purpose to confuse the witnesses but to me it just made him sound completely ignorant.

Even if they manage to pin everything on Alex they still need to explain why they failed to protect the children from Alex and how they failed to call the cops once he murdered Tylee. They need to answer why, after Alex murdered Tylee, they gave him free access to JJ. And then they need to explain why they never alerted authorities after he murdered JJ. Also, chad specifically needs to explain why he allowed Alex to bury the bodies on his property.

A child such as JJ with autism wouldn’t like a person as Alex if he was ever mean to him even once, that I know of autism. So if Mr Warwick said it seemed that Alex was taking care of JJ and played with him...I’d say that Alex was never mean to JJ in the past, and so why would Alex be mean to him at all then. Usually once an autism child don’t like you, they won’t ever. My 7yr old grandson with autism don’t like my husband because he’s loud, and he’ll tune out people he don’t like, as if they’re not there...just as JJ had done Mr Warwick.
@Avocadogreen315214 жыл бұрын
I think Mr Warwick I'd just not a type to "get down " and empathize , especially at first with people. My experience with working with autistic children demanded that much of me . The man had only met him once. Plus, necessity dictates . Alex became the only male in JJs life after his uncle (Dad) was killed, the only other adult besides Lori, in fact since she hid him from his real grandparents.
@JaimeMesChiens4 жыл бұрын
If you’ve met one person with autism, you’ve met one person. Every autistic person is different. No matter how rationalised, these two children were murdered, and they didn’t murder, cover with duct tape, dismember, incinerate, bury themselves. Since Mr Warwick is not a suspect for the murder of JJ, I don’t see how JJ’s response to him matters. It’s dirtying the proceedings with a red herring.

Melanie lives in a bubble of her own making. In the first interview I saw with her she said Lori had called her & said, "Have you seen the news?" (about Lori's missing kids.) Melanie said, "I don't watch the news." How could you NOT be curious about what's going on in the rest of the world? And how could you NOT have "a relationship" with your best-sister-friend's DAUGHTER?? Lori Vallow found THE PERFECT PERSON to help cover their plans. "We can just tell Melanie to say this...she will fall for ANYTHING!" Tylee was the only SANE one in the whole BUNCH!!

It's all in his tone in that recording. Would anyone whose property was being searched by law enforcement sound so worried and desperately morbid if they knew there was nothing to find?!! He said 2 or 3 times: "They're searching, so...." In the "so" I kinda hear "so" it's the end of the road... For me, it would be 'They're searching and good luck to them. They're nothing to find here!' She asked: "Shall I call you later?" Why hesitate and say "I don't know. You can try. I'll answer if I can." Maybe because he knew the remains would be found and his arrest was imminent; so he might not be able to take her call? Who on earth has human remains buried on their property and know nothing about it?! And that phone call to his lover on the day of the search leaves kind of a 'elephant in the room' question mark. How could they have not known her children's whereabouts during that phone call? I recall many years ago being a total basket case because for about 20 mins I couldn't find my children during a family outing! They'd gone where they were not supposed to and I so clearly recall how panic stricken I was until I found them. Lori, on the other hand wants to know what she can do for Chad as his property is being searched. There's no 'but where are my children?!!' like any good mother would be desperate to know.
@justme331264 жыл бұрын
@@bwests I dont know one way or the other. I'm following this from New Zealand. But my guess would be no because it's my understanding he was arrested when the remains were found that same day; not too long after that phone call.
