Chad, I have said it before and I will say it again, I love watching you catch a fish. The emotions you show are awesome. If you are not a fan of fishing all they need to do is watch you catch them. Awesome. It look like you had the water all to yourself. Thanks for showing us what mod you did on the spinnerbait. Great video!

I've never had great luck with a spinnerbait, & I have tons of them. Beetle spin is a different story, those .99 cent lures work everywhere. Thanks Chad, love your content!

Thanks Underdog. Put them to use this year and leave everything else at home for a few trips. Once you have confidence in them, you will probably fish them too much.

Under the right conditions, I've had good luck with spinnerbaits on Lake Champlain, but not much luck in the south Florida canals... might have to spend a day throwing one around the canals and see if can get that to change
@ChadHooverFishing2 жыл бұрын
I’ve found that in Florida I have more success on spinnerbaits by downsizing the blade size and going with a colored blade or colored kicker blade, especially if the canals have tannic water

Another great video, sir. I enjoy all your stuff. I noticed you’re using an NRX with the spinnerbaits. I went to a lower modulus/strain graphite for spinner and chatterbaits. With the more flex I seem to be not losing as many at the yak

What was moving your yak while you were fishing? Was it current or trolling motor? Like you said not normal conditions for throwing a spinner bait but that's what the fish wanted.

So would a spinner bait be interchangeable with a chatter bait or willow vibe or a under spin jig with a swim bait I’ve nerve had any luck with a spinner bait But only go after small mouth

Brother man, looking for a chatter bait, spinnerbait, top water, swim jig rod. Don't need brand just need specs. 7'3 mh fast??? Idk what I need. But need one for those baits. Thanks homie
@ChadHooverFishing2 жыл бұрын
To split the difference for all of those techniques I would go 7’2” to 7’4” (you nailed it) and I would go MH for power but for action I would go a little more to the moderate to moderate fast side rather than fast
