You need to make more of these videos, I could sit and watch this all day. Also, love the music selections. SO much better than the jarring speed metal that so many guys seem to want to use. Plus, the classical music seems fitting for some reason. Subscribed. :)

Thank you very much. I have tried to use many different kinds of music, but nothing seems to work and gel with the video as well as classical. I appreciate the feedback.

+Josh Hansen on second look, I can't tell if they are 90 degrees and just look slanted because of the camera angles lol

+Josh Hansen thank you!, they are 90 degrees, it's just the camera angle.

Oh man, this got me inspired. That Kreg Jig is very cool, what length screw did you use? and did you drill pilot holes into the longer pieces of wood?
@ChadMakesIt
@ChadMakesIt 8 жыл бұрын
+James Sanchez It's a great tool, they tell you what length screw to use with whatever thickness wood. I used 1.25" screws for 3/4" wood. It also comes with a drill bit and stop collar system that helps drill your pilot holes. Check this out here .. www.kregtool.com/webres/Files/KregJigHDManual.pdf

+Pedro Viana Just some laminated pine wood panels from home depot. It took a while to find some that straight and flat, but they worked out great.

what kind of tape are you using here? Looks nicer than standard painters tape

especially with hardly any bleed

it's standard 3m painters tape, I pressed the seams as tight as I could. it still had some bleed through. If I had to do it again I would have paid a little more and bought frog tape. It costs more, but it definitely out performs the standard blue stuff.

Did you just use polyurethane? How many coats did you use to get it that shiny?. Great project
@ChadMakesIt
@ChadMakesIt 9 жыл бұрын
+July With Fitz I used MinWax fast-drying oil based high gloss poly. I hit it with about 5 coats and sanded lightly with 400 grit sandpaper in between coats.

I used a flex shaft attachment with my drill. However it was still really hard to brace and maneuver it. Here is a link to the attachment www.homedepot.com/p/eazypower-11-in-x-1-4-in-Hex-Consumer-Flex-A-Bit-1-Pack-73609/202790022?cm_mmc=Shopping%7cTHD%7cG%7c0%7cG-BASE-PLA-D25T-PowerTools%7c&gclid=CjwKEAjwz4u9BRCbioK3stnBznESJADA75xbOjNpGmKmtTogVucnb1LwRIfPmW_jaNGFkQ4n6vaJMRoCWOzw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
