This was incredibly informative and easy to digest. This video alone made getting through my gen chem class seem a lot more doable. Keep on killin’ it!!

this was so helpful! almost debated skipping it but the example question you brought in tying it with the intensive property and mass percent from earlier video definitely helped!

buradaydım. thank you so much professor! 12.14.2024 for the H2SO4 question, i assumed that we had 1 liters of solution and went with that way and still found what you have found.

Hey Chad thanks for the video! Just wondering, when do you expect to release new videos for your Biochemistry course?
@ChadsPrep
@ChadsPrep 3 жыл бұрын
My apology Joe. Releasing the DAT, OAT, and MCAT courses this last summer made my life a LOT busier than I anticipated. Last year I produced both organic chemistry and high school chemistry playlists, so I thought I'd have time for both general chemistry and biochemistry this year. So not the case and I had to choose one and unfortunately I went with general chemistry. So biochem has been delayed until next year. ☹

is it safe to assume that the solvent will most likely be water if not stated in the question? Also why is it that we use 80g of H2SO4 solvent when solving for molality, but then when solving for mole fraaction, the 80g of solvent is H2O?

I don't know if you still need an answer but he didn't assume that the solvent is water. It is water because the question states that it is an aqueous solution.
