This gave me the chills. The other day I was spending time with God and I understood there is no such thing as acting. An act is you actually doing something. Someone can tell me to act out something then they release my act to the world and my act can cause millions of people to stumble into sin. God will then judge me for that even though I was just acting. That's why these artists say they sold their soul. Their job is literally to act out sinful things that then gets released into the world causing the eyes and ears of the listeners to be sinfully influenced turning them into a corrupt thing. They are responsible for millions of souls today influencing their minds to become more and more depraved.

Acting is not acting. Its real. There is this actress who was in a series playing the mistress of a man whos wife had ovarian cancer, and it just felt so wrong to me. Years later, this actress who acted as the mistress has stage 4 ovarian cancer, and i remember i just found it so crazy how of every single cancer, she got the same cancer of the "acting wife" of the series from years ago. She died a few years ago from the cancer just like the "acting wife" did in the series. Its alot of crazy times that stuff has happened in set of movies or after filming is over.

Respectfully disagree. The whole point of Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom is to show the misdirection of anger, towards God and towards man’s fellow companions. And in the end, the misdirection of that anger causes Chadwick’s character’s downfall.

1. Blasphemy towards the holy spirit vs God. There is a major difference. You need to reference strongs concordance, hebrew and greek manuscripts to try to learn what blaspheming even means in the first place. Once you figure that out if you even can, then how would you do that to the holy spirit? You think it is one act? We are not angels. We are bound by time. We have time to repent. Our choices are not forever. What i come to understand blasphemy of the spirit is.. is knowing what it is and rejecting and cursing it. 2. Before i was saved, i got very angry with God. I had a personal conversation where i said some things that i should not have said. I think it's okay to be angry and take it to God, but the way you do so can be wrong. You don't go to talk to about your anger and start slandering him, disrespecting him.. and on. 3. At the end of the day, you don't know his heart. That's Between him and God, but i will say that he didn't have to take the role at all. No one forced him.

I worked in a Boys home and these young men lived some horrible lives and some of them believe in God, and some believe if there is a God how could he let so many horrible things happen. I Know there is a God, and I know God is not going to take your life if you don't believe in him, because he said everyone would not believe. And people who go around judging people on there beliefs are just as bad, God don't need man to speak for him. There is nothing God have not seen. The problem is that Boseman stated he left a role in a soap opera because it was stereotyping black men, but yet he didn't do that for God. I heard this was not even in the script and it was an ad lib done by him. If this is the case (not confirmed), this was coming from deep within him. It's even worst because he is a public figure and millions of people will watch this scenes and some might see what he did as being okay. One thing I want to say is that God did not call Boseman into this demonic industry. If his first few known movies have this much blasphemy in them, who knows what his later films would have been like. Sometimes when God can't be glorified through your life, he takes you early.

I Disagree , the character in the movie experienced tragedy and as a result developed a hatred toward God resulting in him cursing God, this is a normal human reaction which I've beard witness to in real life, there are other topics explored in the the movie , it might be uncomfortable for some but its thought provoking and worth the watch.
